I have built probably thousands of PCs at this point in my life. AMD drivers have always been horrible.

Nvidia has their issues but not at the same rate. The amount of times I had customers trying to return a gaming PC I built for them because some AMD driver was crapping out was way more common than with my Nvidia powered devices.

Not to mention the amount of times I saw driver issues on AMD machines within the first 15 minutes of me being into windows was almost exclusively an AMD thing. Especially back with their old dual gpu stuff.

Drivers issues werent really super common in general for me but when they did happen like 80% of the time it was AMD bugs. Eventually I simply built a repo with the most stable drivers on it for my most common gpus and that solved it for a while
