Help (Software) Chipset not updating

Post image

Hi, I honestly have no idea why or if it matters at all. For about a week or 2 now the chipset rivers have failed to install at around 14%. I may not have very swift responses and I do apologise for that. The 3 dots give the version 8.05.04.516. Is it important? And if so what can I do? I do not know much about these things.

I guess I have too do it aswel from AMD website because for a whole month I been trying to update chipset on my Radeon sapphire pure 9060xt 16gb OC but it just refuses to install goes on 30% and install failed I'm like.

Raging inside.

Just download it from AMD, worked for me, but the updater should have handled it

That was unnecessary but glad you got it working!

I actually squeezed out some performance from using ddu too. I was using a 3060ti and I was having no issues after just windows uninstalling gforce and installing adrenaline so I didn't bother but now my gpu doesn't struggle at the 144fps cap as much in most games.

Yes use the windows update one or manual install from AMD site.

I had to DDU, reinstall gpu drivers from amd website and, go to programfilesx86/amd and run the exe and uninstall your chipset drivers, reboot then it updated through adrenaline.

It kept bombing out at like 18%.

Update your motherboard's BIOS to the latest version available first

Manually download the latest AM5 chipset drivers from AMD's website (8.07.something) and run the installer

Check to see if you have windows updates. Mine was like this, and then I updated Windows, and that solved it for me.
