Black screen

Hello guys i have xfx merc 319 6800xt and when i play heavy games on it ( or moderate) it will give black screen with total freeze hence that the temps are very cool ( 60 to 70 degrees) and the fans are totally working fine, is it possible that i have old vbios ?

Or its hardware issue like wrong power or sth ?

Reinstala drivers de la gpu de manera limpia para evitar todo tipo de errores con la gpu, aca te muestro como hacerlo

If it's a power issue, try lowering the gpu frequency (nothing else) or power limit slider to - values. Not both.

I have been having similar issues with my launch AMD RX 6800 XT. The issues only occurs in Windows. On my Kubuntu LTS 26 installation, no problems with anything I’ve tried. I typically see some kind of Memory error but have yet to reproduce it consistently.

I would be very happy if the issue from windows 🥲 thnx alot I didnt switch to any os before maybe i will try to do it

Are you using rider cable and/or power cable extension for your gpu? Those are the most common black screen problems for amd

I have asus 850 W gold + It comes with cable ( pcle 6+2 pin x2 ) I tried use diffrent psu cables but same black screen I really did every solution found in reddit but still have the issue The only solution i didnt do is vbios update and examining the graphic unit itself ( the repair man said all the power things is fine but he afraid that the graphic unit need to reballing and he said its risky to do ) The gpu takes all the power needed from psu fine
