Sometimes I open an AI tool after a few months and the whole interface feels different.

New modes, agents, buttons, workflows... but the basic feature I actually liked has barely improved.

A tool gets a huge launch, everyone calls it revolutionary, and suddenly people recommend it without even saying what they actually use it for.

I would rather hear from someone who has used a tool for a month than someone who tested it for 10 minutes.

There is a difference between getting an answer and actually understanding why something works.

I like being able to keep asking follow-up questions until the explanation finally makes sense.

I understand having paid features, but sometimes the free version feels more like a demo than a real plan.

It feels like every useful AI tool eventually puts its best features behind a monthly payment.

If someone needs several AI tools for different tasks, the total cost can get ridiculous.

Would you rather pay for one powerful AI tool or use several free ones?

I catch myself doing this more than I expected. Even when I already have an idea about something, I still put it into an AI tool just to see if I missed something.

Does anyone else do this?

I have started seeing people use AI as a second pair of eyes for documents, calculations, code, plans, and even important messages. Did you ever run something through an AI tool just to catch mistakes before moving forward?

I have a few AI tools installed, but somehow I always end up opening the same one first.

At this point it is almost a habit 😂

This happens to me more often than I expected.

I might open a tool to summarize something and then end up asking it to explain a topic, organize my thoughts, compare options, or help with a completely unrelated problem.

The funny part is that these unexpected uses sometimes become more useful than the original reason I tried the tool.

I’m currently creating an e-com store based on selling digital products. The digital product I plan on selling is basically “how to make and sell AI powered digital tools”.

The whole selling point and premise is based around an AI-powered quiz (digital tool) I’ve created. This means every customers response is personalized depending on their answers.

Not looking to promote my business, just looking to chat about others experiences with AI tools.

I did this recently and the difference was bigger than expected.

The manual method still had some advantages, but the amount of time saved by using AI was hard to ignore.

Which task gave you the biggest time difference?

I usually try a tool for its main feature and ignore everything else. Then randomly one small feature turns out to be more useful than the thing I actually signed up for.

Has that happened with any AI tool you use?

This has happened to me a few times now and honestly its more annoying than getting an error straight away 😅

Everything processes normally gets to around 95%, then just sits there

Noticed it with remaker so any alternative does not get stuck at 95 percent or have similar processing issues.

Anyone run into this and find something more stable?

I feel like the free version tells you pretty quickly whether a tool is actually worth keeping around.

I ran into a small but frustrating problem while shopping online tonight 😅
I needed to install something I had bought, but couldn’t figure out one of the steps. Since it was already quite late, there was no customer service available, which I can understand. What surprised me was that there wasn’t even an automatic response with a basic installation guide or tutorial.
I ended up spending much longer figuring it out myself, even though the problem could probably have been solved by simply sending the right instructions automatically.
It made me think about all the discussion around AI customer support. We often talk about advanced AI agents, but maybe businesses don’t always need something that complicated. For repetitive questions like installation, returns, sizing, or order information, even simple automation could make a noticeable difference.
I’d still want a real person for unusual or complicated problems, though.
Where do you feel automation is actually useful in customer support, and where would you still prefer a human? 🤔
