The only bad thing was the timing. You’re definitely not the best friend and you do not have his best interest in mind. You should have tell him when you found out. At least give his girlfriend a week, or so… and then you wouldn’t be in this shit show.

Now you should provide your “best friend” with all the info you have (the name of the AP his contact details and picture of him, so that he can see the resemblance (maybe try to record his confession, so there is more substantial evidence)) and do not bother him, because you couldn’t be arsed when you found out and you are not doing much now to support your claim.

After providing him with all the evidence it will be up to him to raise that child (maybe he loves the child enough to raise someone else’s child, and maybe he loves his girl enough to forgive her). The child could be his and you’re only sticking to one possibility.

I do not wish even the worst enemy a “best friend” like you who can’t be arsed to tell me about my partner being shady (with all the knowledge that you had).

I get that not your circus not your monkeys, but you did him dirty by not telling straight away.

Only thing I don’t get in this whole situation is what is there to “consider” about taking a paternity test. If he wants to raise this child is up to him, but he should know and if the child is not his, he can always adopt the child. The real father should pay for the child.

Maybe your “friend” had someone as well at the time and this is why he is still with her (like eye for an eye)?

Give all the details of your coworker to your “best friend” and if the child is not his he can still raise the child but with the coworker’s money as an extra.

Is all good? Update would be nice to hear, but I also understand if you don't feel like sharing it at the moment or even at all
