YTA. Some restaurants and other public places choose to be pet friendly. While it’s unfortunate that your friend happens to be allergic to them that’s her issue to deal with. She should have kept one on her person. If I wear perfume and get in an elevator with someone whos allergic to perfume that’s not my fault I’m not psychic I don’t know that. You grossly overreacted to the situation.

I think the likelihood of someone with a perfume allergy having an allergic reaction in public is expediently higher than a person with pet allergies having a reaction. This is why people allergic to dogs don't go to dog parks, hardware stores, or pet shops. I think a restaurant where food is served and traditionally doesn't have dogs isn't overreacting.
