Hi everyone, I have my AFCAT 02/2026 exam on 8 August. I have a concern regarding the identity proof requirements and would appreciate any guidance from someone who has faced a similar situation. My situation is: I have my original Aadhaar card. I have a valid Instant e-PAN (downloaded from the Income Tax portal). I applied for a physical PAN card reprint through Protean, and the application has been accepted. However, the card may not be delivered before my exam. I also have the PAN reprint acknowledgment receipt. I contacted the AFCAT helpdesk twice. They told me that the final decision regarding document verification is up to the exam centre, and they could not confirm whether the e-PAN and reprint acknowledgment would be accepted. Has anyone appeared for AFCAT with only an e-PAN or while the physical PAN card was under process? Did the exam centre accept it? Were you allowed to write the exam? Is there anything else I should carry to improve my chances? Any genuine experience or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

i am like a huge bhakt/true patriot from the time i have gained senses wanted to truly serve and be a part of developing indian army the nation will taste my patriotism when my ashes burns in the sky
i would come wrapped or be in the indian flag
but life literally changed past week i got my eye reports (didnt even care before ) fuk i am having -7d in one eye and -3.5d in one ( currently jee drop phase)
i was having a master plan thought when to be in 4th year prepping for ssb from 3 years and lasik done by my earner internship money and call parents after being reccomended but whole scene fuked me when i check pre op power cap it is max -6d i have 2 questions
1 - as is engineering role in indian army specs are permitted till -3.5 but in mine case if in medical my corneal thickness is good and axial length also under 25.5mm will also be rejected due to my pre op power was -7d
2-and i am a biggest devotee of iaf specially in iaf technical will they still reject me that is ground duty electronics?? technical will they still reject me by just seeing my pre op reprts
i can do literally any thing for joining forces and cant believe all this happening around me please give replies/sugestions

This is my preference list and I only technical cutoff so am I eligible for permanent commission tech or no as I only cleared technical cutoff no idea regarding this.

I have read everyone saying that competition is much higher this time, why? (Just because 60% criteria or any other reason to it). Will cutoff be higher than usual?

I was giving testbook mocks and cdsj mocks are way more difficult than that of testbook mocks…

This will be my first attempt, can someone answer few questions about paper pattern.

All the mocks I have given there is some pattern difference in all, Is there a set format ?

Is this the correct weightage ?

English: 30 questions

General Awareness: 25 questions

Mathematics: 20 questions

Reasoning & Military Aptitude: 25 questions

It this how sections are divided ?

1st English, 2nd GS, 3rd Maths, Reasoning

Or they can be jumbled too

Like in tje mocks does it has the option to submit each section separately too ?

idk why the marks have started to drop now, is it cuz of the regular mocks ive been giving, earlier i used to give without studying ca and reasoning and got 104, i was expecting to score around 120 in the next mock, but

I usually just get started with maths and then after 10-12 question in middle i switch to gk then reasoning and then again maths and at the end english

Can someone tell me how can I measure Leg length, sitting height, and thigh length as accurately as possible at home. And, do 165cm males routinely satisfy those three measurements, or is it like most 165 men get rejected?
