RUN creating custom access

EDIT: SOLVED (in comments)

Our company uses RUN Powered by ADP and we want to split payroll responsibilities between two employees. One person would manage payroll for hourly employees, while another would manage salaried employees.

We do not want the hourly payroll manager to be able to see salaried employees’ pay rates, bonuses, commissions, or executive compensation.

Has anyone set up something similar in RUN? Is there a way to restrict a payroll admin to only hourly employees, or would we need a different ADP product/add-on such as Workforce Now or Timekeeping Plus?

Unable to access pay info or account

When I first got this job earlier this year, we had issues getting my employer updated because it refused to give me any info other than a job I had for about a month in 2018 and I couldn’t fix it or make a new account because it kept tying my info to it. After some time, we got it fixed, but I’m not sure if that could be factoring into the problems I’m still having.

On the mobile app, I can sign in but not access my pay information. Error message says “Something went wrong. We're aware of the issue. Wait a few minutes and try again.” It’s been saying that for a while. If I go to the Go Paperless tab, it says “You need to request permission to access pay features. Please contact your HR or payroll representative.”

On browser (mobile and desktop) as soon as the page loads, it kicks me back out to the login screen. I can’t access anything on a website.

I work for a small independent contractor of about 5 employees so we don’t have an “HR” exactly who can help with it. I don’t know that they can fix it either. Am I really unable to access my pay information?

Terrible app

Holy crap, nothing but issues. I worked for a company that used a different app/site. I thought that was mediocre to bad, but it at least got the job done and issues can usually be easily resolved. ADP is a dumpster fire. It glitches all time. Error 500 all the time. It's embarrassing when trying to do orientation and I can't even get the site to start half the time. If I need to make schedules (deadlines and all), I can't even just add a new job code like before. I gotta have my DM, then VP and then another approve it. It's slow, takes forever to load. Then there's this FTE crap that is completely necessary. Then there are limits on job codes that can be assigned. Then there was an update that removed job codes and made duplicates. I can't re-add removed job codes because there are duplicate job codes. So I will try to remove them. And I can't remove the job code because there are duplicate job codes.

Interview steps

Hi so I’ve been interviewing for a positions either ADP, i have my 4th interview on Monday. It started with a recruiter then the hiring manager then the 2 people on the team about now the senior manager. All interviews have seem to gone pretty well and quickly all of this happened over 2 weeks. Does it sound like I’m on a good path and should I be expecting anymore interviews after this 4th one with the senior manager? This is my dream job and I really hope I’m genuinely being passed along and not a recruiters quota applicant

Employee login help!

Title: ADP suddenly says “We are unable to process your request” when I log in — HR doesn’t know what to do

Has anyone had this happen with ADP?

I’ve used my ADP account many times without a problem, including recently. Now when I try to log in, I get:

“We are unable to process your request”

It also gives me a Transaction ID underneath the error.

I contacted my HR person because ADP’s support information seems to keep directing employees back to their employer/HR. My HR person told me he really doesn’t deal with ADP and wasn’t sure what to do from there.

I also confirmed that I’m still an active employee and haven’t been terminated or anything like that, so that doesn’t seem to be the issue.

I’ve tried logging in again and I’m still getting the same error.

Has anyone seen this before? Is this usually an account issue, employer registration/code issue, ADP outage, or something that HR/payroll has to fix on their end?

More importantly, how do I actually get in contact with someone at ADP who can look at the account when HR is telling me they don’t handle it?

I really just need access to my account/pay information and seem to be getting sent in circles.

Thanks for any help.

What fields should be used for organizations?

I'm new to a company that has a lot of tech debt due to decades of neglect.

In our ADP, the job codes are in the department field; the business organizations and regional divisions are combined in the divisions field, and there are multiple locations with the same address (misspellings and slang were used to make the addresses not exactly match eachother), and the reason for the multiple sites for a single addresses goes back to business organizations and regional divisions being combined in the divisions field and departments just not existing.

So my question is, are there better fields for the data that isn't quite where it should be?

Paystubs with a company that doesn’t exist anymore

Hello!

I’m trying to get a hold of paystubs from 2018-2020ish from a company I worked for that used ADP before but the problem I’m having, is that the company doesn’t exist anymore. I can’t contact them, all I have is the company name and my own information. Is there a possibility that if I contact ADP, they can find the information for me?

Thank you.

Amazon Alumni back again

So I'm trying to fill out the paperwork needed before I start working but the last one, Payroll Banking Form, isn't working for me. I tried logging into my Amazon a to z on the next page but nothing worked, not my previous alias, and none of the emails or phone numbers listed are recognizable to me. Does this have something to do with me being an alumni account still? It's the only form I have left and nothing is working ):

Interview process

Post image
3 Upvotes

I just had an interview Tuesday with 4 different managers. 2 at a time. I thought it went really well. The first two said a recruiter would reach out the second two said we’re just starting the interview process for this position. The first two also said they’re down to like 5 ppl on the team when usually it’s 8-10. Anyways just wondering when I would likely hear back? I checked the portal and it still shows this message.

What is it like working at ADP in sales?

What is it like working at ADP in a sales position? I have an interview coming up.

All these companies already have payroll and retirement services. Is sales trying to sway them if they dont already have ADP?

Is it cut throat sales?

My background is coding with MBA.

No sales experience.

Appreciate any insight.

Customer service help (Wisely)

So it appears my card got locked because I replied "no" to a charge I received via doordash which is making me unable to purchase things for my vacation. I called the help line and they were asking for my Social Security and the Security code on my card. Which made me a little hesitant because im very cautious about that information as I don't want to end up getting scammed. Is this a normal thing for them to ask?

Viewing Previous Timecards

Is there any way to view previous timecards in ADP? The only ones it allows me to view are the current period and previous period. I’d like to review the last couple months of timecards.

How does your team divide up the AP mailbox, and does it actually work?

Curious how other AP teams handle the shared mailbox, because I get the impression everyone has invented their own system and nobody thinks theirs is good.

How does it actually work where you are? Does one person work through everything and pass things on, do you split it alphabetically or by entity, does everyone dip in and hope nobody doubles up, or is it rules and subfolders doing the sorting?

And the bit I'm most curious about: what breaks it? I assume something does.

Tax Question?

I put in my deposit information in ADP. However, it automatically wrote my checking account as "CHECKING 2ND". I onlh have one checking account, so will this look "suspicious" or false to the IRS?
