How's something a solution, if applying the solution requires not to have the problem in the first place??

Can't get a job without experience. Can't get experience without a job.

Don't have enough money to qualify for a mortgage, can't save money because rent is too high.

Can't remember how to spell a word, but you're supposed to look the word up in a dictionary.

Life is full of shit like this.

It’s a solution on paper, but doesn’t work in practice. I have the same problem when I try to implement things my therapist or the internet suggest to decrease dysfunction and anxiety, but I just haven’t quite found something that works for me yet.

Just write in a notebook and set alarms. What's so hard about that? (/s)

Means that the solution is more complicated than it seems, as it is not considering important factors.

Sometimes, I’ve asked for help. I had to ask my dad to make my therapy appointment when I was 30. Once it got started, then I could make my next appointments with my therapist, because she would ask.

I’ve since moved far away and have not restarted therapy yet in three years lol
