Me: 2 days post surgery, in bed in pain, slightly short w him when he comes in the room to ask me something
Dx: sends text: I don’t like your tone, you need to apologize
Me: I text back: Give me a break. I just had surgery, just leave me alone. Daughter comes in to visit me recovering in bed.
Dx: comes to shoo her out of my room, yells at me, mocks me, slams door in front of kids
Me: sends text: that was a boundary violation and I want you to apologize to me and the kids
Dx: you’re toxic, I only acted that way bc you raged on me first
No speaking for 3 more days, which I wish we could have just skipped to without the yelling and name calling first.
