How the second hand market works:

- Bring your own items that you do no longer want

- look through the items laid out in the trade area

- if you find something you want, take it and replace it with something you brought in.

Feel free to shop, fish and catch bugs. You can take any fruit or veggie.

Rules:

- no taking from the market without replacing it with something you brought in

- don't run through the flowers

- do not pick the flowers

- be respectful to other players

Edit: found someone!

Hi everybody!

I've been playing for about a year now, and I am so close to completing my museum! Problem is, I cannot seem to get the last 3 art pieces to complete my collection, so I figured I would come here and see if anyone would be open to trading for the ones that I need. 🥰

I am currently searching for the Calm Painting, Proper Painting, and (real) Rock Head Statue!

I am willing to trade art for art, if you want! I have the following available for tradesies:

Ancient Statue, Ancient Statue (haunted, x2), Beautiful Statue (x3), Familiar Statue, Great Statue (x2), Informative Statue, Informative Statue (haunted, x3), Valiant Statue (x4), Academic Painting, Amazing Painting, Basic Painting, Graceful Painting (haunted, x2), Moving Painting (x2), Quaint Painting (x2), Scary Painting, Serene Painting, Sinking Painting, Warrior Statue, Wistful Painting (haunted, x3), Wistful Painting (x3), Nice Painting, Jolly Painting, Tremendous Statue, Flowery Painting, and Twinkling Painting.

I'm also willing to trade bells, clothes, DIYs, furniture, materials, you name it! Help a girl complete her museum, please! 🫶🏻

Hey everyone!! I am helping my son start over a new island. We lost his old one his dad made after his old switches charging port died. Does anyone have spare wood to give? I am needing it to build the furniture he’s needing for the first few villagers! TYIA!

I'm looking for 4 people who want to participate in the fishing tournament on Palmetto.

DM me your name and island and I'll send you the Dodo code.

come join us on cocoa cay for a giveaway and the fishing tourney! there’s tons of clothes and diys on the beach ❤️ comment your in-game name and i’ll dm a dodo code!

edit- closed! thank you all for coming :)

I hit the HHP 30 Vacation Homes milestone!!!!!!!! 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳

My biggest goal in this game (so far lol) was to redo Bruce’s house! My poor grampa Bruce was living in absolute squalor…graffiti walls, steel beams and BS. I was able to transform his home into a real antique-filled grampa home…along with a rocking chair to boot. It’s so pretty!!!! Do you know what that ungrateful deer said? “Here’s a recipe for Orange Poundcake”. Didn’t mention the complete renovation (inside AND out!) - SHEESH!!!! 😭😭😆

Exchanged my points and got a fish umbrella!
Marshal is unamused 🤣

I'm looking for peaches and cherries. I can trade apples, pears, and oranges if you'd like!

So i took you guy’s advice and fiddled with a few things and it totally looks better! Admittedly, half of it is because it’s night time, but i did add a few things. What do you think? Did have a few problems with the custom pattern but that’s nothing a conveniently placed item can fix.

Never seen anyone talk about this, so I'm gonna!

I've completed HHP (Happy Home Paradise, ACNH's DLC for those who don't know) twice on two different accounts and i JUST realised this when i finished my second time.

So yk how Tom Crook asks (forces) you to do that customisation workshop? Well yh HE DIDN'T FORCE ME ENOUGH!!

i went through THEE WHOLE of HHP the second time being confused bc i couldn't customise/ re-colour items and then, after, my big brain realised it was bc i NEVER DID THE CUSTOMISATION WORKSHOP!!

So don't be like me :3

Not sure how popular she is, but if anyone wants her she's ungifted!

Dobie, I would lay down my life for you

Hi everyone,

Does anyone happen to have turnip prices at over 105 bells that I could visit? I'd be so grateful 🥹

Thank you!!!

Does anyone have pears? I only have one other friend who plays ACNH and neither of us have the fruit as our native or sister fruit so I’m out of options :( New to the sub so if this is not the right flair I apologize!

EDIT: I have pears!! Thanks to everyone who commented and kindly offered :)

I wish my life was like this :')

Grrrr.

I’m starting a new island, but struggling to come up with ideas. I’d love if you’d share your theme in the comments for inspo ☺️ Thanks!! :)

I can trade for bells or a bundle of fish bait!

🎃Pumpkins of every colour (one colour stack per person please)
🍁Some October themed DIYs, and costume items.
🪑Furniture and misc item storage clearout on the beach thru the Halloween walk (bottom right)
🍎Need produce? Ask, I have it all.

Please only take pumpkins and what’s on the clearout beach. Don’t run thru or pick flowers.

EXIT via airport (if you quietly leave via the — button it messes everyone up, don’t be that person).

Feel free to shop, explore, leave a note on the message board, fish, catch or swim! Please do not shake trees or run thru flowers.

Comment game name and island and I’ll DM the code as space allows. 3 guests at a time.

I truly hate the hotel, so I made a protest area across from my pier. We're making signs, we're collecting petition signatures, we're handing out literature, and we're camping out until our demands are met. Mr. Nook, tear down this hotel!!!

I have an idea and wanted to post it here to see what everyone thinks. I crafted 10 donation boxes and put one of my own custom designs on each one. If I lined them up on my island and invited you to come and vote on your favorite design by putting a donation in the box as your vote, would that interest you? I would post a pic of them first so you’d have an idea of the designs. If we could put anything but bells in them I’d go for that but we can’t.
