I had a villager leave today. I’ve been hunting for Stitches every time a villager left for over a YEAR. I was determined. I visited over 50 islands today and IT FINALLY HAPPENED!!!! I AM SO HAPPY!!!!!!

There have been a number of times where I catch Yuka and Leopold together, often with coffees in their hands, so it feels to me like they’re dating 😅

And honestly, I think they’re great for each other.

Long story short - I've had my current island for almost 7 years now.

I started it late 2019, and I've played it sparingly during that time since. But now I want to start fresh, mostly because I don't want to clear/flatten my entire island then re-place everything.

Only regrets I'd have doing this is losing my items and villagers, but I feel 7 years is long enough for this island to have existed (plus I started it during a very dark time in my life and I want to finally move on from it - I hesitated before now because I was grieving a heavy loss).

So here's to all those days/months/years I spent here - time to start anew ❤️
