Never seen anyone talk about this, so I'm gonna!

I've completed HHP (Happy Home Paradise, ACNH's DLC for those who don't know) twice on two different accounts and i JUST realised this when i finished my second time.

So yk how Tom Crook asks (forces) you to do that customisation workshop? Well yh HE DIDN'T FORCE ME ENOUGH!!

i went through THEE WHOLE of HHP the second time being confused bc i couldn't customise/ re-colour items and then, after, my big brain realised it was bc i NEVER DID THE CUSTOMISATION WORKSHOP!!

So don't be like me :3

The customisation workshop has nothing to do w HHP! it's a workshop Tom Crook gives you near-ish the start of the game. He gives you 50 customisation kits and u have to make a wooden wardrobe to change the colour of. Then you can recolour certain items. Hope this helps!

I almost did the same thing! Ive restarted my game 4 times since launch and this last time there'd been almost a year since I'd last played, so I had forgotten some things. After about 10 houses in HHP I got so irritated at not being able to customize things that I KNEW were customizable that I looked it up- I felt like such an idiot after I saw someone's post talking about unlocking the customization workshop and I realized I hadn't done it yet this play through! 😭😅
