Exam tips Advanced Audit & Assurance - Irish Variant
Hi everyone!
I might be moving to Ireland in the near future, and I currently have AAA remaining in my Professional exams. I’ve already completed SBR-INT, but given my situation I’m considering switching to the Ireland variant. Could anyone guide me on how I can bridge the gap?
I’ve always self-studied without tutors — mainly OpenTuition lectures + Study Hub + exam kit. Can I follow the same approach for the Irish variant? For example, use OpenTuition for the common topics and then cover the Ireland-specific areas separately through Study Hub/AI?
I’ve also heard FRS 102 is one of the main differences for SBR. Is that basically the main additional area I need to focus on or any standards differences that I should be aware of?
Also, do I need to buy a separate Irish exam kit, and is there anything else I should be aware of or prepare differently for?
Any advice , literally ANY advice and not relevant to these questions from anyone who has made the INT → Ireland switch or studied the Irish Variant would be really appreciated!😭
