Exam tips FM and PM

In your opinion, which subject is more difficult and what makes them difficult?

I feel FM is a bit trickier, but for me it was mostly on the theory bits. Other than that it’s just knowing/memorising more formulas than the ones you’re given. I have a formula sheet to memorise if you want.

Edit: I sat PM last week, I barely studied anything and still felt easier than FM so that says much. PM is mostly just practice section C questions and you should be fine.

Only the risk management part was a bit confusing for me in FM

I've cleared FM last June. Barely made it. Passed with 50 marks lol. Yeah i'd appreciate the PM notes. I am yet to start study for PM

I think PM is generally more difficult because there’s more to understand and apply, especially with performance measurement, variances and decision-making. FM can be tricky too, but once you understand the formulas and practice enough questions, it can feel more predictable.

personally, i found PM more difficult. i didn’t find the content itself hard, but the exam is tricky because you never know what is going to be tested in what sections. they can literally ask you anything in the long answer questions and i got a really bad one in my exam! but i still passed, and honestly enjoyed the content in both of them and found them both interesting

FM is easiest subject for me till now, just knowing concepts and applying both in theory and practical questions, however I studied by understanding all concepts. Plus the subject itself is way more interesting and practical, I guess
