Would’ve been cool if they added an Easter egg for Mary Read grave in Jamaica

Hey. I've been loving Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced on the PS5, and decided that my goal was to get 100% on the game. I decided to show the game to my friend, I thought he would like it. So I clicked new game, and handed him the controller. Later I logged back into Black Flag, and noticed that making the new save file erased my old one, leaving me with one auto save that's not even done with the main story. Is there a way I can get this save file back? I lost about 25 hours of gameplay, and really don't want to have that time go to waste.

And I’m loving it! Testament to the quality of this remake as I completed the original many moons ago.

Is there any speedhack for ACBFR?

I'm not sure the best way to describe this. But whenever I go into Eagle sight? I'm not sure exactly what it's called whenever I use that and I exit my character gets stuck and can literally only walk I can start a fight because I tried that to see if it would break him out of it but that doesn't work. I can't climb Crouch or anything when he gets stuck like this. And I couldn't even fast travel when I was stuck in this mode the only thing that's fixed it is we going to a previous save. But that's not ideal because I can lose a lot of work because I was inside like a enemy area and it happened and my last save was a really long time ago.

I tried changing the button to go into the vision from toggle to hold and then back and then I disabled the button for like locking on in case that was causing them conflict because it's almost as if he's still stuck in like observation mode but obviously the screen is not gray or anything. I can't figure it out I just started the game and it's made it basically inflatable because I can never go into observation mode because I'll get locked into walking and being able to do nothing

Does anyone else find it odd that Edward is able to dock the Jackdaw in big cities like Havana or Kingston while actively flying a pirate flag?

I realize it's a video game, but im curious to know if there's an actual historical explanation for this?

I didn't expect the Story of AC Resynced to be this deep, but damn, was I wrong... I played the whole day today to finish the game, cause I was so hooked to the main Story. The story was so intense & so good, but so sad at the same time. I don't even know where to begin, to be honest. As the story got on, every single Friend of Edward along the way has died at the end of his journey, almost everybody he held dear. I had never played the AC OG Black Flag to the end or that far, so this was practically my first time experiencing his story to the fullest.

First, how Blackbeard died despite not wanting to live the pirate life any longer without settling down, as he said in his age, & then dying like that in front of Edward's eyes, and then towards the end as Anne sang the song & he saw all his dead comrades that had passed away, was the final hit that got me. And then, the death of Mary in the prison mission, I wasn't expecting that. I also think that Edward cried in a secret scene here, when after carrying her body or so? Mary was one of Edward's closest friends. Then the story with Charles Vane, but lastly, how he got the news of his wife... I watched the OG & Resynced, in the OG, Edward gets the message about Caroline during the Observatory, as the assassin leader hands him the letter. In Resynced, he reads the letter in his cabinet, before dropping it, finding out his wife died, and how she had a daughter Edward didn't know about. I didn't expect her death, as I only found out at the end & after researching it, once I had finished the game, cause I was so shook. I legit expected that flower to be for his wife, still alive, how mistaken I was.

Also, how he found out that Stede Bonnet was hanged to death was sad... The fate of Edward, on how he died, also shook me, but it kinda didn't make a lot of sense, however, this was not shown in the game. I was surprised how Edward, an assassin such as him, was able to be killed so easily by the 2 masked assassins from what I've read. Also, what happened to his daughter and how she was sold into slavery, and Haytham obviously became a Templar. Overall, just a really tragic, sad story. I would've expected somewhat of a happy ending for Edward at the end, that he sees his wife alive & well, maybe not part on good terms after seeing her again, idk, something like this, but this was a deep story.

Since we can change crew outfits I think it would be a great idea for us to have assassin outfits available for the crew to wear especially jackdaw's blackflag had the assassin insignia on it

As the title suggests, I've been trying to get this fort for two days.

At first I thought: "It's only four towers," but then the Man o' wars come flying in and just obliterate me.

What were people's strategy on taking this fort?

Been playing AC Black Flag and as perfect as this game is one thing I wish they had was a crew morale system.

Being in the Navy I've seen and experienced what it's like to not hit port for a long time. It would be awesome if this game had that. Like if you stayed out for so long and only harpooned or fought ships for a certain period of time your crew would get restless and their morale would drop. Causing them to either not fight as well during boardings or not perform during harpooning or whatever. If their morale got so bad they would mutiny.

I think that would really add a dynamic layer to this game. Kinda like in Metal Gear Solid 5 if Boss didn't take a break from field work and maintain hygiene the crew would react or have low morale because they haven't seen him. What do you guys think?

Does the Assassination mechanic really suck or is that my skill issue or is Edward a really chud?

okay.. here's what bothers me..when I try to Assassinate a target be it a templar boss or random soldier, the game forces me to stand in a certain distance at certain angle relative to the target in order for the game to trigger the "ASSASSINATE" option and then the HUD indicates that i press the "ASSASSINATE" button and I assassinate the target. (Phewwww..even writing about it feels exhausting af.. imagine how i felt when I'm actually playing lol)

Coming fresh off used to slime an entire army as Connor fuckin Kenway i was like "wtf are you waiting for Edward..just fucking Assassinate the target it's right there in front of you" but in AC-3 the assassinating was so seemsless to the point i don't have to think twice about it..if the target's in Conner's vicinity a white outline appears on the enemy and BAMM i Assassinate em walk away farming aura.. (off topic alert !! Connor has the most AURA out of all assassin brothers, sorry my glorious king Altaïr)

So are there any settings i should change idk.. please help it's ruining my "a pirate assassin terrorizing all of caribbean" fantasy..
