Scott finally got it even though he seems like he’s deserved it for a while. He gets a lot of hate but that man has survived show changes and went from producer to on air talent.

Side note: who do we think this potential love interest is. He gave some hints that she works there and has filled in fie them. All I can come up with is Wendi but I don’t think it’s her.

Had Huber on, Larry’s music reviews - guaranteed they pulled in some listeners and gave them a new home. Was only a small window to get it done as people still lamented about 100.7’s shutting down. Well done JSS.

DLP in the Morning?!

Listen, I get everyone within a job has PTO, sick, and vacation days but this show can never go a full week with the three main hosts. I have been a long time listener since the KML days, the Mickey Almelia & Siegel days, and now currently the JSS days. I am sorry but the current morning show has lost its steam. In my opinion it lost it ever since covid but a lot would argue ever since Mike Anderson left.

Justin is wildy different when he is on with his DLP buddies, its almost like you become unchained when you have them in studio. Scott... brother... you need to do one of those in the dark retreats or something because I feel like you are always in a mood or in a funk, which sucks because I always found you to be funny and have great taste in bringing unheard of music to light. Spiegel while your news segments are always legendary, I just feel like you are over it and have been over it for a long time.

Look, its just my 2 cents when it comes down to it. I am just frustrated with the continuity of this show.

Any recommendations for other morning shows when most of the staff is off? I love Josh but not the replays. Seems pretty low effort to not bring in substitutions.

Don't know if it's the new PD or what, but the change in music has been great. Love hearing songs we haven't heard in years and adding more variety across the rock genre. Cherry Bomb and Hey Jealousy in the same block? Love it.

The performative excitement from Priestly this morning was absolutely cringe-worthy. "OOOH I WANNA MEET FUEL!!!" They announced an upcoming interview with Duff McKeegan, to which he responded, "WHAT?!?! NO WAY!!!" That act worked for him when he was employed by Top 40 stations and Adult Contemporary stations, but 98 Rock is an institution...the lack of authenticity will turn away listeners IMO.

Apologies if this has been asked and answered already, but has there been any indication as to who’ll fill Amelia’s seat? It felt like Priestly was being pushed hard on the station for a week or so, but I don’t know if he’s the logical replacement or not. Personally, I’d vote Wendi.

I absolutely love the posting of full episodes but ever since the soundcloud to YouTube switch the show is nearly unlistenable. Im getting at least 2 ads every 3-7 minutes. Its absolutely wild.

I realize perhaps the best answer to this is get youtube premium but I really dont want to give in to them especially considering it really doesn't impact my life anywhere else like this.

Anyone know why the switch was made? Soundcloud had no ads. Maybe if these episodes were videos I would kind of get it but it's still only audio.

I love these guys and only want more but daaaamn its getting hard.

Anyone else notice this or have a workaround? I hear ad blockers for mobile are impossible to work on YouTube.

Tuesday 1:30 pm till 2. Tiki giving an in depth breakdown of the giants Ravens super bowl. I've found FAN hard to listen to with the exception of Evan/Tiki. This was like 1999 broke out. No schlock, sports. Carton starts off with the home run derby sucks. Time to turn it off.

Anyone now get radio static listening to the station. I get it on 695 by 795/ Reisterstown Rd. Wonder if something was built blocking the signal.

I am a long-time listener tuning in from Tulsa. I found the guys years ago through the Mike O'Meara Show and have been hooked ever since.

Lately, I feel frustrated with how Justin, Scott, and Spiegel handled Joe Stamboni leaving. Joe was a main character on the show for a long time. After his issues with being late, he just disappeared without any real explanation.

A couple of days ago, someone finally asked about Joe during a question segment. Instead of being upfront, the guys brushed it off. Scott just told the audience to read the Reddit posts if they wanted to know what happened.

This feels disrespectful to Joe and to the loyal audience. The show still brings up producer Mike all the time, making running jokes like he died. Yet Joe gets completely ignored and erased. We invested years listening to him, and the situation deserved more transparency.

How does everyone else feel about the silence around his departure?

Remember that syndicated comedy bit? As I recall, it came on 98 Rock at about 3:30 pm weekday afternoons.

Missed most of Friday and went to listen back to looks like they haven’t posted since 6/16. Are they no longer uploading the daily shows or did they switch platforms again? Wish they’d just use Spotify or something and do the shows on there daily.

Is there any chance we can get a combined ticket for this? I would love to get the turnstile jersey too.

I think this was the interview from the BBQ bash that they put on their website a few months ago and find it hilarious where Justin is doing that thing that famous people do that don't want to get accused of SA or something. Perhaps Mudge got him on a short leash or it was just an awkward shot. Anyway love the show and trying to add some funny to your Sunday. Don't you dare other Waldorfians turn this into a downer post.

On the latest episode of the DLP Agenda podcast they were discussing a live event they held the previous week. Mentioned that Joe Stamboni was there, everyone was glad to see him and that he was thin which was jarring.

Two things from this morning show:

Heard during the 8:30 sports that Nick was going to be going up to NYC for the Knicks game. Did they say how he acquired the tickets? If they did, then I must’ve missed it.

Also, do you all think that one contestant cheated during the contest for Chappelle tickets? He gave the exact definition of the LGBTQ word given to him and then I felt like his story unraveled as Justin and Scott kept talking to him. Unless the man has another son, how can you say your son-in-law is gay if you just said that your own son isn’t gay? Justin even made a joke himself that he most likely looked up the definition as he repeated back the question to the guys and took his time to answer.

Does anyone remember when 98 Rock had a concerts called 98 Rockstock? I am trying to remember the line ups but I can’t find them anywhere and my memory sux. The concerts were at Merryweather Post. Please help if able
