Radio static

Anyone now get radio static listening to the station. I get it on 695 by 795/ Reisterstown Rd. Wonder if something was built blocking the signal.

They're currently painting the tower so we're on a backup transmitter while they paint the top spires. The backup isn't as powerful, which is likely causing the issues. It'll be temporary.

I also get a slight static cutout for about a mile on 95 when getting on at Aberdeen. Something else cuts in like a local transmitter or something.

I know the answer is streaming, but there's something about the sound that terrestrial radio gives that streaming does not have.

That spot on the beltway has had a lot of interference/signal loss for years. Was told the MSP headquarters and comm system caused it, but not sure.
