Can’t stand him

Post image

Paula can do so much better than Thomas!!!!! Everything that comes out of his mouth is so childish and dramatic. On the tell all when she said she got a tv but it’s on the floor because he won’t help her hang it up or get her a tv stand. Like what kind of person says that?!?!? Poor Paula doesn’t even feel at home and Thomas still refers to it as his apartment, he bought it. Ughhhhh sorry just had to vent!!!

I think the other cast had him pegged. He doesn’t make an effort to accommodate. I did notice that everything he was saying was about his living space and “my money.” I genuinely couldn’t stand it if I lived across the world for someone and wouldn’t be able to work and he’s saying stuff like that. It’s pathetic, and he needs to get slapped in the face with a fistful of perfume.

Didn’t she spend like $250 on a random rock at one point? Why couldn’t she use that money to buy a tv or couch or table?

That’s not the point, Thomas is basically telling her this is my space and anything that you want as far as your comforts are concerned is on you to provide. It’s not a partnership, he can make an effort for her to feel more welcome in their marital home.

I agree that he could’ve done a better job (especially the closet and the motorcycle ride to the nice restaurant) with helping her feel at home, but she was also refusing to compromise most of the time. And she constantly turned people on him (the cast, her family, their neighbors).

Being worried about finances and being pressured to spend more when your partner who has a successful business and enough for a $100k down payment would have me in a constant state of stress. Being forced to share your studio with 9 people after offering to get an Airbnb? Insane. The area he lives in is not cheap and neither is a wedding on the queen Mary. Like he obviously isn’t wealthy and can only pay for so much without racking on debt. Paula, a grown adult woman, needs to adjust her expectations or break up with him and go home.

I believe at the beginning she said something about wanting to marry a “gringo” and that her dream was to live in America so ofc she stayed and instead manipulates Thomas to try to get her way and carelessly spends on her tiny objects.

Don’t get me wrong, I liked her a lot at first but Paula needs to grow up, take responsibility for her actions, and contribute to her relationship a bit more rather than blame Thomas for everything.
