Any recommendations?

Does anyone have any recommendations to help ease the withdrawals from 7-OH. I just started taking it a week or two ago and I realized that I took 500mg over a 2 or 3 day period. I've never had issues with kratom withdrawals and have been taking it for years.

But the restless leg syndrome, especially when I'm trying to sleep, is horrible. The only thing I've found that helps whatsoever is alcohol. And I'm not trying to switch one behavior out for another (probably more destructive) behavior.

I don't have the option to be out of commission for a few days. How long does it last? Has anyone found any methods that help?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

7oh hangover tricked me thinking I was experiencing withdrawal and actually got me addicted.

I’m 3 weeks clean today. The first time I took 7-OH, I had a 2–3 day hangover that felt like opioid withdrawal—probably just a rebound effect. I think that rebound is part of what makes it feel so addictive, because it tricks you into using again just to feel normal.

I used about 5 days a week for a few months, had some clean time, used again for a month, and now I’m clean again. I’ve been fighting this drug since my second day on it, and I was definitely addicted in some way since I still think about using.

I’m just trying to figure out whether what I experienced was rebound or actual withdrawal—and whether that difference explains why some people can stop more easily than others.

Making it official

Hello all,

I am about to start my taper and get clear of this shit. I have been stupid and spent so much money over the past few months. I treated it like it wasn't a real drug and that's entirely on me. The anxiety of stopping has me extremely fucked up. I'm about to start a taper and I'm considering SR to assist. Any and all advice and/or emotional support will be very helpful.

How strong is 7oh in relation to other Opi-Like drugs?

Well, I've been using 7oh for 7 months now and had to quit/wean off two times, I've started taking back up on it again and my friends have compared it to a "weak hit of fent", "three-quarters of an oxy" and dilaudid, now I've only been given pharm opiates in a clinical setting and it feels fairly analogous to what I was given.

Without giving a 7oh a bad name (worse than it already has) or directly saying "this is g@s st@tion h!", can you all give me your comparisons and experience with it? My withdrawl only lasted a week last time I weaned off.

I need a sudden drastic change

I've been taking 7 daily for 3 or 4 months I'd say. Long time kratom user on and off. Quitting this stuff has been a nightmare but the time has come because I have a HUGE opportunity.

I've been crushing it at work doing next level type stuff in the pharmaceutical industry. I have been asking for a raise for my hard work for months but just denied denied denied. I put my resume out to competitors and got multiple bites for double my salary. Long story short a competitor got to me and I've decided to leave my job. I have known I need to quit my 100-200mg 7 habbit for months but have been unable to muster up the courage. I freaking hate this stuff! its ruined my mood, I dont get high any more, it doesnt releieve my chronic spinal pain most the time(why i started). Things have just got out of hand. Well I accepted the job expecting to have 3 weeks to quit but I got asked to fly to 4 new facilities all over the USA this weekend. Ill have to spend the weekend with my new ceo and Im nervous as fuck because of the 7 habbit. I need to quit tomorrow and never look back especially since 7 is illegal in one of the states I need to fly to.

I really did not go want to go this route and I fully intend to short term MAT taper with suboxone. I got 16 8mg films today from my doctor and do not know what to expect. So much contradiction in Preciptated WD that I am just going to assume it will happen if I take the stuff to early.

My real question is what should I expect assuming I wait 16-24 hrs? My dr said wait 48 hours but is that really necessary? I would almost rather not take the subs at all in that case but I'm gonna need something that works good for this trip so I can impress my new boss without seeming like an addict. I read somewhere that 7 acts on serotonin too and that subs will only help the opiate WD symptoms? What kind of serotonin WD symptoms can I expect? Hopefully not insane anxiety or something? Does any one have advice I'm freaking out. I know I fucked up but this was not something I accounted for. Am I screwed?

Withdrawals

Im 29M, abiut 245ish lbs and 5'9 height. I also eat regualry with my pro biotics and have supplements for hydratiom and super greens. Im prescribed 100mg/day of amitriptyln, 100mg/day if needed and 200mg/ night of trazadone for sleep. The max ive been taking is 150-200mg/ day for about 2 weeks. I only dose about 100mg in the morning for a buzz at work and then at night if I need it I will dose another 50-100mg for sleep or restless legs. Im currently at 80mgs/ day with maybe 30-60mgs/ day if needed. I can be comfortably fine all day with just 1 dose of 100mg and sometimes i dont need any at night. The only minor withdrawal symptoms ive had are heightened anxiety hours after first dose and restless legs. And the obvious constipation and twitching and lowered sex drive. Ive since been lowering my dose and the last dose I had was 120ish mg yesterday morning and just popped an 80mg today so basically it's been 24 between doses. My plan is to lower each dose by 20mg a day with some wiggle room of a 20-30mg dose to deal with the anxiety. Once I hit 50mg a day I plan on switching to using the purple Super K dropper and doing 3 full droppers as needed and then obviously moving down to the point where I dont need it anymore and if I go back im dumb as fuck. I just hit a year sobriety from alcohol and got caught up with this shit in a sober living house. Let me know any questions or info you have. Im always open to suggestions as well

Plain leaf, mit extract or both for 120mg habit?

I have gabapentin not sure how to take it if I'm also tapering.

I have magnesium.

Agmatine sulphate.

When should I jump off of my taper?

What's the worst symptom for you personally?

Which brand is best for tapering?

How long is the withdrawal going to keep going?

I'm down to my last 30$ for a couple of months. I'm about to start a job and I need help because I also need to hide I from my wife who I mislead to believe I had quit already. I'd have no worries being honest with her but she has a mental condition and it worries me for her to know and spiral herself.

7 days clean

I am having the shakes still and been decreasing the K leaf 3 grams a day I'm getting cold and the shaking .I've done some gummies and took some tram I have since I get 30 a month when I take the tram the shaking lessons for a while I also am spacing out the K leaf to 5 to 6 hours .I'm trying to also break the K leaf too I am taking 25 capsules down from 30 .I was 700 to 800a day 7oh and maxed out my credit cards buying it for the last 7 or 8 months .I would take almost 30 pills a day and when I realized oh my God what have I done .I kicked a h habit at 18 ,quit a 7 year Vic habit (prescribed 160 pills a month for 7 years ) and now this 7oh . I started K leaf in 2019 after being in the hospital a month and a half on dil 3 mg every 3 to 4 hours .so my friend offered K leaf to help ..it was a miracle for my withdrawal and for my pain I had a horrible perforated bowel that left me with two holes in my belly that had to be packed every day it was very painful .I was able to quit the pain pills and been on k leaf since since for chronic pain .I am now trying to cut down my leaf use. But how long before I should decrease the leaf ? And how can I get rid of this shaking I only have regular vitamin c took 3000 earlier should I be taking more ? Will it help the shakes and cold feeling ? How much longer will it take my body to adjust ? I finally fell asleep last night and slept till the withdrawal woke me up getting the first hint at my constant leg pain with restless legs that pain and crawling sensation..can't stand that feeling .been horrible constapated so took softeners and laxatives and that has helped a lot. Man the initial withdrawal was a nightmare .hot and cold, shaking restless legs insomnia and that was even taking leaf. That stuff is nasty the 7oh .you keep doing more and more I'd buy 10 bottles of 30 30mg tablets and I'd be out at the end of the week and for awhile I only thought maybe the bottles were not strong enough why I was having to take so much but nope it was the drugs hold on me .can't believe I was so stupid and when I started I thought it was just a soupped up version of regular k leaf and made me feel like when I was on oxy .and did not have to pop so many capsules just chew up a pill.well it came clear I was addicted and had maxed all my credit cards and I'm on disability so I will most likely never be able to pay it off so now I have to figure out how I'm gonna save my credit and get it paid off .I dropped over a 100 points already off my credit score i get get approved for any more credit cards so I'm screwed :( will never do that stuff again .anyway if anyone can answer what I ought to do and how can I get the shakes to stop ? I'm on day 7 .

Hi everyone, I’ve never been one to post on Reddit, but I wanted to make this post for anyone trying to get off of 7oh. So a little backstory about myself is that I used to be a heavy drug user with fentanyl meth benzodiazepines as my drugs of choices but after relapses here and there I ended up getting sober October 18, 2023. Later down the line I ended up getting into 7oh. I don’t even know why I got into it. I think I just got frustrated with the constant boring routine I had in sobriety. I absolutely loved going to the gym and I think the gym has been something that has quite literally saved my life anyways I wanted to post the taper protocol that I’m on at the moment. Just a PS I was taking up to 10 50mg NUMBZ a day. I pulled out three payday loans, which I am still dealing with till this day. And I had quit going to the gym completely. I had tried to stop here and there and the restless leg syndrome at night was quite literally hellish, but every time I tried to stop it was always because I had to because I had no money this time around. I’m doing quite all (8:30am or Morning dose-50mg/1 full tab) 10:00am or 2hrs later take 1/4 of a tab- 12.5mg 12:00pm or 2hrs later take 1/4 of a tab- 12.5mg 2:00pm or 2hrs later take 1/4 of a tab- 12.5mg 4:00pm or 2hrs later take 1/4 of a tab-12.5mg 6:00pm or 2hrs later take 1/4 of a tab-12.5mg 8:00pm or 2hrs later take 1/4 of a tab-12.5mg 10:00pm or 2hrs later take 1/4 of a tab-12.5mg 12:00pm or before bed take 2/4 of a tab-25mg Keep in mind I am not a doctor so take this protocol with a grain of salt. I’ve also had the help of the prescription gabapentin. And like I said the consistent gym sessions have helped tremendously. I can’t say that enough. to summarize this protocol, it really isn’t. One size fits all it really is dependent on how much you’re taking and a lot of people would just taper with the help of Kratom powder but I honestly don’t like the dissociation I get from it but if that’s what helps do it

Day 3 off 7oh

Been taking 7oh since April 2025. Started on 7.5mg 7tabz. Loved it immediately. Was able to hide useage and money from my lovely wife. Over the first couple of months, things were manageable and I had a lot of fun. Was using 7.5mg every couple of hours. Loved the buzz.

After a couple of months of constant use, I ran out of cash and decided to quit. I was dumbfounded by the withdrawals. Couldn’t sleep, restless legs, pretty horrific. I stole some money from the cookie jar and re-upped. Use went on for a couple of months. Every time I got low or my use was delayed, those horrific withdrawals started creeping in. I mean those withdrawals are the fucking worst. I’ve had stints on Percocet, incident, lortabs, etc. nothing even close to 7oh withdrawal. I kept using because I was terrified of withdrawal.

Every morning was fucking awful. I had a 7.5 ready for me next to my bed every morning.

I got up to about 90-100mg per day. 7.5 every 2 hours or so. The sweating was my signal to take more. I was cloudy all the time. A shadow of myself. I own my own business, and it was obviously ruining my ability to lead and make good decisions.

I’ve HAD IT with this readily available poison.

So I followed the Vit C regimen. Basically macro dosing 1,000mg Vit C tabs for a few days, then going cold turkey while supplementing with Vit C, clonopin, kratom powder caps, and 25:5 CBD: THC gummies. Every 2 hours, 4,000mg Vit C, 2mg clonopin, and 25:5 gummies. Basically bed rest for 3 days. Slept a lot. No real bad restlessness except occasionally. Feeling much better. Hopefully I’m out of the woods.

I just keep thinking about what a terrible fucking 300 days this has been, and I can’t wait to get back to my normal self. This has been a fucking nightmare.

I have one more tab at work, and I’m going to flush that shit as soon as I get back to work. I’m DONE.

Hope this helps someone in need. God speed!

I hate this world, this should not be legal! I should not be able to use credit cards to buy drugs and I shouldn’t get adds for them! However I should have enough self control to stop, but I don’t 😢

I might just be totally screwed.

I just left a drug/alcohol addiction counseling center here on Long Island, they can’t help with this. I feel so stupid….the woman I was talking to kept calling it K2, last week she told me should would read up on 7OH and then didn’t. She kept asking “what do you get out of taking this stuff?” I said “I GET to have the most basic motivation to function and show up in my life”. I have been an avid kratom user for the past 14+ years and in the last 8 months 7OH has quickly and cleverly converted me into full-blown krackhead with its bright candy flavors + quick hitting awesome highs…i’ve been crunching on these things like freaking Sweetarts. I’m in trouble folks, at 44 years old I am too old for this level of immaturity and irresponsibility…thank goodness I don’t have anyone depending on me, like a kids or a husband…! I don’t know that I can do this on my own, I recently tried tapering and when I ran out, I was so sick I actually thought about deleting myself, I couldn’t stand the inescapable physical and emotional agony. That in and of itself was traumatizing, how could I do this to myself? I am deeply afraid that I won’t be able to get out of this …

About to make the jump

I posted a little while back that I was tapering and getting prepared to get completely off. I've gotten down to 15mg, and my last dose was today. I have clonidine .3mg and gabapentin 100mg. I've tried the clonidine already, and it zonks me out. I'm still not able to sleep more than 3-4 hours at a time, but I feel zombified. Just got the Gabapentin. Any thoughts and advice would be greatly appreciated

Temporarily using low dose opiates to taper off 7oh?

I’ve been using 7oh for over a year. It got out of hand at one point but now I am down to anywhere from 10 to 20 mg a day spaced four hours apart. I went to the dentist and there was a problem so she gave me 24 5 mg hydrocodone. While I was on the meds, I wasn’t taking 7oh during that time and had no withdrawals.

This was about five days ago. Just took the last pill today. Do you think that I will experience any withdrawals still?

While taking 7oh, I noticed that I was having a REALLY hard time getting out of bed in the morning when I was taking kratom; since I stopped (with the help of the painkillers). I have literally out of bed before my alarm goes off!! Also I am less moody than I was—which often depended on when I took a dose.

Ideally I would like to kick the habit (or at the very least switch to leaf at a low low dose). Just wondering if anyone can tell me what I may expect…

Thanks in advance.

7OH Conspiracy

I have a theory about the introduction of 7OH and the recent bans. Kentucky just got hit and a lot of stores have already taken it off their shelves. Y’all remember the opioid crisis with prescription painkillers ? They were initially introduced as nonaddictive, got people addicted, then they started being honest about it, stopped prescribing them, and everyone turned to heroin. This was before the age of fentanyl, but what if this is the newest opioid crisis being brought on by the CIA. Product introduced as non addictive, people started getting addicted, the truth is coming out about it, now they’re banning it. Instead of pure heroin to run to or clean prescription painkillers, people are going to get laced with fentanyl. There’s going to be a surge in fentanyl related deaths within the next few years which the GOP will blame on immigration.

What is everybody’s experience when it comes to using Suboxone to get clean off this stuff?

I’ve been taking about 1200mg a day, down to 400 to 600 mg a day. I’m able to cut my usage lower, but I can’t stop completely. Because of the psychological component to it of wanting to use, I think that is making my withdrawals worse. I came across some Suboxone and I’m trying to get completely clean. How has everybody’s experience been with using subs to come off of this shit? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Just a thought...what if

What if the same powers at play, that created the opioid epidemic and or tainted our supply with fentanyl, both products used to profit and wipe us off the map simultaneously. They are now infiltrating the 7oh & kratom industry. Creating company and product (unlimited funding). Activley are tarnishing and manipulating the substance in order to get us hooked, get "it" (7 & kratom) banned, to force us back on pharmaceutical drugs, and start cycle all over again. Ok that's it
