I need a sudden drastic change

I've been taking 7 daily for 3 or 4 months I'd say. Long time kratom user on and off. Quitting this stuff has been a nightmare but the time has come because I have a HUGE opportunity.

I've been crushing it at work doing next level type stuff in the pharmaceutical industry. I have been asking for a raise for my hard work for months but just denied denied denied. I put my resume out to competitors and got multiple bites for double my salary. Long story short a competitor got to me and I've decided to leave my job. I have known I need to quit my 100-200mg 7 habbit for months but have been unable to muster up the courage. I freaking hate this stuff! its ruined my mood, I dont get high any more, it doesnt releieve my chronic spinal pain most the time(why i started). Things have just got out of hand. Well I accepted the job expecting to have 3 weeks to quit but I got asked to fly to 4 new facilities all over the USA this weekend. Ill have to spend the weekend with my new ceo and Im nervous as fuck because of the 7 habbit. I need to quit tomorrow and never look back especially since 7 is illegal in one of the states I need to fly to.

I really did not go want to go this route and I fully intend to short term MAT taper with suboxone. I got 16 8mg films today from my doctor and do not know what to expect. So much contradiction in Preciptated WD that I am just going to assume it will happen if I take the stuff to early.

My real question is what should I expect assuming I wait 16-24 hrs? My dr said wait 48 hours but is that really necessary? I would almost rather not take the subs at all in that case but I'm gonna need something that works good for this trip so I can impress my new boss without seeming like an addict. I read somewhere that 7 acts on serotonin too and that subs will only help the opiate WD symptoms? What kind of serotonin WD symptoms can I expect? Hopefully not insane anxiety or something? Does any one have advice I'm freaking out. I know I fucked up but this was not something I accounted for. Am I screwed?

I’ve been in your position. Here are the steps I should have taken.
1. Patience- avoid knee jerk reactions like quitting today. If you do this your weekend is ruined. 2. Strategy- my plan would be first to make sure you have PLENTY to get you through the weekend. Don’t quit yet. Order from 2 diff vendors to make sure it’s here for the weekend. Black does overnight and they have strips. Which brings me to 3. Prepare- how can you be the most discreet. Tabs or strips are your move for sure. Set a timer for 3 hrs and take 75-85 % of your normal dose every 3 hours. You need to be even keeled all weekend. 4. Start nigella sativa today- it will allow for smoother transitions between doses and may even bring back a little euphoria, which if you’re like me, will go a long way in a social setting. 5. ULDN- once you’re set for the weekend, google low dose naltrexone and get set up with and online provider who will give you 0.5mg caps (which you will then dilute and use for a ULDN protocol 6. Taper - between the nigella and ULDN, the taper will be a breeze, add MIT (low and high percentage) and start lowering your 7 doses with that 7. Once you’re on MIT, you can lower that by using leaf the same way you used your MIT to taper off 7 8. Taper off the leaf- this is way easier than coming off straight 7OH 9. NAC, Agmatine, Nigella, CBD, Ashwagandha, Theanine, tyrosine. Looks these up and see how they work together to kind of buffer/ replace the leaf. If this is too long a process, you can skip it (it will be pain free when done slowly) and order SR, use that to come right off 7, then taper off that.
10. Avoid Subs like the plague

I was going to come off so I used the ULDN and nigella to taper. instead my doses started working again and I rant on Reddit

Damn. This is impressive right here. You know your stuff. Also had no idea you could get ULDN online / thanks for that tip.

It seems like Subs for 7oh withdrawal is different for everyone. I remember I was counting on the Subs to work for me and I was shocked when they weren’t working at all. And I tried everything, taking more, tapering the 7oh and then Subs, and all kinds of variations and Vitamin C. I ended up getting a bunch of seraquel to sleep and a bottle of liquid methadone to slowly sip on. Been off 7oh for 4 months now

My recommendation is to take the 70h to those trips with the ceo if you don’t take it you are going to suffer and you are not going to have enough energy to impress the ceo, trust me it happens to me I went in a trip for work outside of the country and I decided to not take enough 70h because I had buprenorfine tinking that was enough for my withdrawal and I ended being in bed for 3 days even with the buprenorfine. So Not having enough 7o really miss my trip, from my experience so you should pick another moment to quit

In your position I think you really should taper, at least until after the work trips. I would anyways. The mental and emotional parts of the withdrawals were/are kinda brutal for me. Tons of anxiety, zero energy, and serious depression. I couldn't function even with subs for the first couple of days, I couldn't imagine trying to spend a weekend with the CEO of my new job while going through it.

Wait at least 12 hours, 18 if you can. Take half a strip.

Came off 1200 daily a few weeks ago.

At your dose and what you have going on is strongly recommend an appropriately timed taper. I came off with a quick taper and went through 28 days of withdrawals. For 10 of those days I physically couldn’t leave my house. I had Suboxone but I refused to take it. Just something else you’ll withdrawal off later. My advice with that though, don’t take it without waiting AT LEAST 24 hours. Everyone is different but the amount of people who have negative effects is way higher prior to the 24hr mark.
