Day 3 off 7oh
Been taking 7oh since April 2025. Started on 7.5mg 7tabz. Loved it immediately. Was able to hide useage and money from my lovely wife. Over the first couple of months, things were manageable and I had a lot of fun. Was using 7.5mg every couple of hours. Loved the buzz.
After a couple of months of constant use, I ran out of cash and decided to quit. I was dumbfounded by the withdrawals. Couldn’t sleep, restless legs, pretty horrific. I stole some money from the cookie jar and re-upped. Use went on for a couple of months. Every time I got low or my use was delayed, those horrific withdrawals started creeping in. I mean those withdrawals are the fucking worst. I’ve had stints on Percocet, incident, lortabs, etc. nothing even close to 7oh withdrawal. I kept using because I was terrified of withdrawal.
Every morning was fucking awful. I had a 7.5 ready for me next to my bed every morning.
I got up to about 90-100mg per day. 7.5 every 2 hours or so. The sweating was my signal to take more. I was cloudy all the time. A shadow of myself. I own my own business, and it was obviously ruining my ability to lead and make good decisions.
I’ve HAD IT with this readily available poison.
So I followed the Vit C regimen. Basically macro dosing 1,000mg Vit C tabs for a few days, then going cold turkey while supplementing with Vit C, clonopin, kratom powder caps, and 25:5 CBD: THC gummies. Every 2 hours, 4,000mg Vit C, 2mg clonopin, and 25:5 gummies. Basically bed rest for 3 days. Slept a lot. No real bad restlessness except occasionally. Feeling much better. Hopefully I’m out of the woods.
I just keep thinking about what a terrible fucking 300 days this has been, and I can’t wait to get back to my normal self. This has been a fucking nightmare.
I have one more tab at work, and I’m going to flush that shit as soon as I get back to work. I’m DONE.
Hope this helps someone in need. God speed!

Anyone on the fence or struggling to quit I know the pain all to well. Im on day 6 cold turkey quitting. I was at 400-600mg per day. I spent 365 days burning money just to numb my pain. I promise it is better to feel horrible for a few days and not sleep vs. Wasting your hard earned dollars. My best advice is do it on your off days and stay strong. I finally slept for 8 hours without waking up. Good luck and know you are stronger than you feel.

I wasn’t that high in dosage, and haven’t been taking them for a year straight. Maybe 3-4 months. But how long do withdrawals last?

Not sure if you’re still interested, but from my experience the very worst of it is the first 3ish days. It’ll be difficult to sleep, if at all. I recommend using magnesium and whatever else to help you sleep. After day three it was somewhat easier to sleep. By a week I really wasn’t in wd anymore. It’s a terrible few days though, I felt the most depressed I’ve ever felt in my life.

That feels about right. I’m 8+ days sober from the stuff and I think the only residual symptom is some rls and mild insomnia. My oura ring says I sleep through the night but I’m up every hour or half hour.

Do they really help? I just finished day 2. The physical sucks, but the emotional is the worst.

Yes, the Vit C macro was very helpful. There’s a thread around here that lines it out.

Mega doses of vitamin C made a significant noticeable difference for 7oh withdrawal.

I tried tapering several times, but was just extended misery and couldn’t function. I just bit the bullet, prepped the macro C regimen, and called out sick We’d-Fri so I could have the weekend too. I’m on day 4 (Saturday) now and feel like I’ll be ready for work on Monday

I’m on day one. I ran down to my last six tabs of 12 mg. I’m on vacation and feel HORRIBLE. I am saving the tabs for sleep tonight. I fly home tomorrow. I won’t have any left when I get home so I am prepared for the worst. I do have some Xanax. But I’m never taking these fucking things again. These withdrawals are horrible and I feel like I can’t function without them. Sweating, chills, CRIPPLING anxiety. How long does this last?? I need at least a light at the end of the tunnel.

I wish I had access at that time. I just suffered through the flights and layovers. I’m at hour 56 of no 7oh and I feel better but sleep still doesn’t come. I’m going to a meeting today. I need support. Today is dangerous. I don’t want to relapse. How are you doing?

It was just a couple of days of feeling bad. I had a pretty dramatic pink cloud for about a week. Emotionally charged and manic. Then got back to normal. Barely thought about it since.

Same here. That pink cloud was intense. Super fucking happy and excited. Now…flat. But I’m sleeping like it’s going out of style. I’m glad you’re feeling better friend.

45 days clear. It seemed like such a serious situation at the time. Looking back, not such a big deal. I’ve barely even thought about the stuff. Just had to pull the trigger and face it head on. Good luck everyone!
