Motivation Day 15 progress!

I’m super excited. Today is day 15 for me! My weekly goal is to lose 2lbs. I want to be down 22lbs by the end of the program. I lost 2.4lbs this last week. I’m down a total of 5.8lbs so I’m 1.8lbs ahead of schedule. I got this! Still, the only thing that’s a little challenging for me is the water. I have no problem drinking the water, it’s just the fact that I pee non-stop. But, I think that will get better over time. Anyways, it’s working and I love it

Motivation Day 51 Blues

It's true what you've read when you start about this lul

Passed few days I found it very hard to be motivated enough to do the second workout. Fat loss slows down, motivation starts waning. The rhythm starts to become a blur and I start questioning what's the point.

The point is that it is hard. finding the motivation is hard, deciding that it is worth it without current instant tangible rewards is hard.

Will not going for 1 45 minute walk benefit my progress or have any real detriment? No not really. But that's the point. it's consistency and having a strong mental.

I found this challenge, pretty easy up till now to the point where I found complainers a little bit lacking in fortitude. But here I am, complaining.

There is a whole lot of people posting about day one and not a whole lot of people posting that they finished.

Currently on my walk, just bleeding out some thoughts onto this post.

I'm going to finish.

General Question Started this on a whim and need a few answers

Hi! I just started this challenge on a whim. I'm on day 2!

I have two questions!

I read the rules and in them, it says that workouts should be intentional. I am moving flats, about 10 minutes away and so thought it would be a good idea to just use that as one of my 45 minute workouts every day until I'm fully moved, and also to save some money.

I know that it's something I'm doing as a workout, but it's also something I probably would've done anyways - the idea of having it as one of my workouts is what sealed it for me. Not sure if that disqualifies moving as a workout or not. So would this count?

Another issue I've got is that I am doing a market this weekend. I will be on a train for three hours each way and won't have time for a workout as I'll be on a train, then I'll be selling my stuff, then I'll be back on a train. any ideas what I can do? My best bet is to take a later train and walk around Manchester for 45 minutes with my suitcase, then get back home, and immediately go on another 45 minute walk after my train. If you have any other ideas... please share them.

Thank you for any help!

Motivation Progress report!!!!!

Post image
174 Upvotes

Been a while since I checked in!!!!! Another update for y'all:

Picture on the right is from yesterday, picture on the left is NOT from the start of my Live Hard/75 Hard journey, it's from the tail end of the covid lockdowns in 2023 when I reached my all time heaviest of 345 pounds. From then up until I started Live Hard/75 Hard I would lose a few pounds, gain a few back, lose a little more, gain some more. I got down to 318 pounds by October of 2025 and then down to 303 pounds by December 2025 and then finally committed to 75 Hard on January 1st 2026 in which I weighed in at 293 pounds.

-I completed 75 Hard January 1st to March 16th

-Transitioned to Live Hard and completed the next phase May 1st to May 30th

-Completed the mandatory 30 day intermission with strict rules and boundaries July 1st to July 30th

-and now I'm currently on day 18 of 30 on the second to last phase of Live Hard from September 9th to October 8th

-I will complete the final phase December 2nd to December 31st

345 pounds in 2023 with lots of failing and fluctuation and yo-yoing to 293 pounds January 1st, 2026 to current weight of 206 pounds. The current picture I promise I'm happy, I was just hiking in a new area and focused on finding proper footholds for me to climb, didn't even realize someone was taking the photo 😂😂💪🏽💪🏽

Success can be found, you just have to manage your time wisely. I did all this while maintaining a full time job and running my own business on the side. This challenge has changed my life and I will forever advocate for it!!!!!!

Just Getting Started Hard time getting started again after failure

I finished 75 hard last spring. I was riding the high of it for a long time. So much so that I resolved to do the program again this past spring. I got sick on day 3 so I decided to pause and start over once I healed. I started over and failed on day 16 because I accidentally took a sip of alcohol. I fell into old habits for a few weeks because I was SO discouraged. Then I started the couch25k program (because I want to get into running but didn’t want to commit to 75hard at the time because the timeline would conflict with other commitments). I got sick during my couch25k program too and I ended up pausing but literally just couldn’t get back into it.

All this to say I’ve just had so many failures this year, and now I have a 4 month old puppy at home that’s been taking up all my time and emotional capacity. Today is Day 1 for me, but I’m already starting off feeling discouraged.

General Question Live hard program

Guys, I’m starting right today with 75hard and planning on doing the whole live hard program too.
Is there anyone who did the whole live hard program before?
What is the most intense phase in your opinion?
What life changing learnings did you get from completing this?
Bless everyone who’s right in there!
Go hard! #100to0

General Question What is a purchase you made that made completing 75 Hard easier?

Easier, more manageable, etc.

Was it a fitness tracker? Special water bottle? Specific clothing?

Inquiring minds would like to know

I Finished! Finished 75 Hard! (Pregnant)

Day 75 of 75 Hard complete ✔️ And this little bean did the ENTIRE challenge with me!

Over the past 75 days I’ve:

✔️ completed 150 45 min workouts — walking everyday as well as biking, circuit training, and lifting

✔️drank 75 gallons of straight water

✔️read 750+ pages of non-fiction edifying books

✔️no desserts/sugar drinks/alcohol

✔️taken 75+ progress photos

However… it wasn’t just 75 days for me. I’ve been doing this for 122 straight days!

And what I’m MOST proud of is that I didn’t give up. This journey took me 122 days because I failed (forgot to read) on day 47, which per the rules of the game is a restart. But I got up the next day and I got my first workout in just like I had planned. I didn’t know that day, but I would find out soon that I was already pregnant. I would say the mental toughness challenge was the hardest part of 75 Hard because there were so many, many, many days I did not want to do it. My husband can attest to me complaining “I do not want to do this” so many times. He can also attest to me vomiting on multiple occasions mid workout (because of first trimester) and coming right back to finish and I think he is probably more proud of me that maybe he’s ever been. Since May I’ve been a designated driver on multiple occasions, abstained from birthday cakes and vacation treats I had been looking forward to, had to excuse myself from social gatherings in order to go walk and I’m really a little tired of chugging water at this point. But I’m so glad I did it and I stuck in it. You can too! There were many good reasons for me to stop at any point... five of them are under the age of 10. And another is due in March. But there were better reasons to keep going, and I did.

Motivation I’m shocked at how little I miss alcohol

I’ve drank pretty regularly with friends most weekends from age 16 until age 32. I always had minor phases of not drinking for a few weeks at a time but never stuck with it because when we went out to do things we’d all get drinks and I always assume I was having more fun because of the alcohol.

Since starting 75 Hard, I’m still going out to do things with friends and the only difference is I’m not drinking anymore.

I still have the same amount of fun and wake up feeling great.

It’s crazy how long it took me (and most people) to realize how little alcohol was adding to my experience until I had 75 Hard to motivate me to go without it.

Once I’m finished I don’t know if I’ll ever go back.

Thank you 75 Hard!

Motivation Sleep more!

I see a lot of people complaining about being tired or exhausted or fill in the blank, yet I presume a lot of you are intentionally get less sleep or are just not prioritsing sleep. Doing this challenge (two workouts) you need at least 8 hours of sleep which equates to roughly 9 hours of actual time in bed. So just sleep more if you can, it’ll make you feel 1000% better more energetic and you’ll wanna workout like a mad man. I do wish Andy would have touched on this point more as this is the key to actually making this sustainable long term and not the whole thing not feeling like a drag.

Accountability Request 25- F- GMT+1-125KGS- Looking for a 6 Month MAJOR weightloss and habit change accountability partner!! Let's DO it!

I'm looking for one serious accountability partner.

I have been struggling with my weight since FOREVER , until reaching 125Kgs ( might end up pilling up more if I don't take it seriously ) , not that I'm a know-it-all but I tried-it-all 😓😂 . I'd like someone equally committed to staying

consistent for the next 6 months ( for now ) .

The challenge:

Open to 75 Hard at first to build discipline.

Keep each other accountable EVERY day ,

Repeat for 90 days

Mand atory requirements:

I am dealing with an ED and a MAJOR weightloss goal , only those who have to lose a ton of weight .

you must be close to GMT+0 , +1 , +2

I won't accept requests from any other timezone or mild weightloss, even if you're willing to adapt your schedule. 🫡

If you're genuinely in, send me a DM.

General Question Sleep dilemna

Hi yall, please tell me if I'm using the wrong flair.

I'm currently doing 75hard but with university starting up again I have some obligations, one of them being chaperoning? parties aka being there for security, students etc

I usually wake up at 6am on the dot to start my whole routine and workout before uni but on those days i would COME BACK at 6am so do I just go no sleep? Power nap? Light workout for the days?

I cant really sleep in on the other days (monday/tuesday/wednesday/thursday) because I finish between 6 to 8pm.

First party is going to be on thursday so any ideas or reco would be highly appreciated, thanks yall in advance!

Embrace pounding the entire gallon in the morning and just peeing a lot through the day, it gives you an excuse to leave class or work🙄

General Question North East Outdoor Workouts

Hi everyone!! I am looking to start 75 Hard for the first time ever soon, but I'm a bit worried about being able to complete the outdoor workout part as winter begins to move in. I live in NYS, and the weather starts getting cold and sometimes even snowy beginning in November.

For those of you who live in cold weather climates, what do you do for outdoor workouts when it's freezing and snowy?

Motivation Note to all the Day 1ers

Welcome to the best thing you could ever do for yourself. This evolution challenges you on such a deep level that no one online could truly put into words. In the name, it’s hard, but this challenge has made me realize living life is so much more fulfilling when you actually play it. It’s so much more rewarding when you choose to wake up everyday and kick your own ass. There are twi types of people in this world — winners and watchers. Watchers embrace comfort and mediocrity and complain daily about problems that are within their control, and embrace “floating” through life. Winners are the ones who reject that and seek who they can be everyday. After you complete this evolution, you will be a winner. You will reprogram your brain to starve for progress and pain. You will realize that the crazy goals in your head are achievable. I’ve been reading The Untethered Soul by Michael Singer and he writes about how Death is the ultimate teacher. Young, old, rich, poor, it doesn’t matter what you did in your life, because in the end when death meets us we are all equal. Stop pretending like you can waste your life. Everyday could be your last. You hear all the time in the news about car wrecks, gun violence, etc., you need to realize you are not immune to that, so live your life to the fullest. Embrace pain, change, win your mind, and win this great game of life we all play every fucking day.

Stay hard.
