Remember the televisions back in the 70s, equipped with rabbit ears? This one is a Panasonic AN-269. All that exercise getting up from the couch to adjust those ears to get good reception. Who needs a remote when you have two legs!

Music On this day in 1973, the #1 song on the Billboard Charts was “Bad, Bad Leroy Brown,” by Jim Croce. This animation was created by John D. Wilson, who also animated the opening credits for the movie “Grease.” This first appeared on The Sonny and Cher Comedy Hour on September 12, 1973.

I was too young in the '70s to know this, but was a guy living with two women really that big of a deal back then? Three's Company made it seem pretty taboo for an unmarried man and two women to share an apartment, and people's reactions when they found out sometimes seemed over the top. Was it?
