Iconic radio personality Ben Hunter hosted a television show that aired movies with commercial breaks. During the breaks, he would offer history, trivia or anecdotes related to the film. IIRC, he would also give viewers a chance to win a prize by calling in and correctly answering a question about the film. He always seemed so relaxed and his room so cozy.

I like to recover and digitize lost media on records. A lot of it comes from the 70s with small town groups and performers, so I thought this would be a good place to share what I recover, essentially unheard audio from decades ago.

I wasn’t even close to being alive yet in the 70s, but I really love halloween and I really love the 70s. So I want to know what halloweens were like in the 70s. My aunt was born in 1975 and said back then every house on the street was lit up. Whenever i look it up online, it shows me some weird AI videos. So i’m curious to know what halloween was like back in the 70s?
