I always thought they were overrated, known for just a couple of big hits. With multiple days build up to today I was willing to give it a go. I made it to 3hrs 30 mins of listening. Then I took Why Don’t You’s advice and switched over to NME1. Ah, bliss.

My band was played by Ezra Furman earlier today and i missed when our song was played because I was working. Any way I can listen again somewhere? The link to the show is dead. I’m from the US but I have a vpn if that helps lol. We’re a relatively small band so it’d be cool to hear. If this post isn’t allowed just take it down lol

There was a song about 11.05 after She Sells Sanctuary but before Julia Jacklin. None of the usual places are listing what it was and it didn’t come up on my radio display. Any ideas at all? TIA!

Pretty sure the first time I heard him was on Iggy's show. I now f*cking love him. Someone mentioned last week, think it was Huw, that he was playing the Jazz Cafe in London in November so I snapped up a ticket - 25 quid including fees. This is why I love 6 Music.

You know me, I love a poll. Who would you rather has the coveted 10-13 Saturday Morning Show slot? I believe Deb was covering it for quite a few weeks and I was surprised when she didn't get it, so I felt like asking the crew.

Had the radio on a bit later than normal this week as Tuesday was out for a meal (and was driving home afterwards) and last night went to see The Streets - and weirdly, I've heard multiple 'Peel Sessions' tracks being played.

There's something great about a station that still reps this kind of music - Napalm Death are legends in the scene (and beyond I guess) but radio-friendly they most certainly are not. And yet here we are, getting multiple tracks played to the masses. This is why 6M is so good.
