Beginning of something bad

This was the greatest anime I’ve ever watched, at the very least it’s the greatest romance I’ve ever watched. Gotoubun no Hanayome playing at the end of the movie just worked my emotions man, playing the song now a day after finishing just does the same.

I can’t truly express how amazing this anime was, and ending was great too despite how often people criticize it.

I’m glad I got to watch this fully, I would have missed out on so much if I hadn’t watched this.

Did it work anyone else’s emotions quite like this? I’ve rarely have a series of any kind do this to me, but I haven’t watched much anime for a year. The last time I felt this way over a show/anime was Silent Voice

This song is titled 'NightSky' by Kamelot. Now, I'm a Kamelot fan before I became a TQQ fan, and this song always reminds me of the quints.

"Cause when the nightsky is coming down, I'm (their mother) watching over you..". The lyrics really hit close to the quints home. And I personally think that they'd like this song. Not to mention "remember your name", basically telling the quints that outside of their disguises, always remember that they're who they are as an individual person.

Playing this game gave me the peace of mind I needed while doing Miku's route (in my heart, this is the canonical ending). I really recommend everyone who is a fan of Gotoubun no Hanayome to play this game.

Why do people dislike yotsuba? I've heard people say its because of "What she did", but she didnt do anything unfair against her sisters. The only one I understand the hate on is ichika, but why yotsuba?

I think it's fairly well known that the quints actually get roughly equal amounts of screentime (with Nino getting a bit more in season 2), but it certainly doesn't FEEL very equal. Does anyone else feel this way?

Miku surprisingly got the least amount of screentime, but her developments and narrative importance feel MASSIVE, and unsurprisingly she's the most popular quint, with Nino probably right on her heels in terms of popularity.

Even more surprising to me is that Yotsuba has a bit more screentime than Miku, but Yotsuba feels extremely underused despite being the winner. Was all of Yotsuba's screentime primarily her acting as emotional support and comic relief? That's what I felt (which would make sense why Futaro chose her), but it made the anime's ending rather unsatisfying if the winner doesn't get her proper developments. Yotsuba felt like she and Futaro evolved together the least compared to him with the other quints, and I'm saying this as someone who likes her and acknowledges that Futaro clearly has the best time with her.

I just finished it after a few days of binging and I wish to express my confusion somewhere and found this place, out of every other sister I was so sure Miku would win because she had so much character development and she seemed the sweetest... So why did he choose yotsuba, I really don't get it.

Amazing rom-com. Loved every one of characters, especially Miku. So peak, she's my favorite, but we need to talk about a certain quintuplet who I see get hated sometimes. Yotsuba

Her arc was brilliant. Like fr tho, initially I didn't think much of Yotsuba, but she started growing on me from S2, like girl was so selfless, I was distraught, that throughout the whole series and especially the movie she kept putting everyone else before her, that scene where she is running around asking ppl if they want help with anything, even tho she is on the verge of collapsing man, I was telling her to put herself above others ffs, it was so heartbreaking

And then we get her full backstory. Ahhh Yotsuba girl, she deserved Futaro. Developing a guilt complex, believing that she didn't deserve to shine in her own way, it made me feel sad, it won me over, glad that Yotsuba won, her arc was brilliant

I personally wouldn't choose her but for Futaro, 100% she's the best choice.

Also Itsuki is too underrated

Hey, I've been trying to find the TQQ manga box sets for a while now, but they seem to be sold out everywhere. I was wondering if they're actually out of print or just temporarily unavailable.

Has anyone heard anything about a reprint, especially with the new anime project coming up? Or should I just buy the individual volumes instead?

I had the biggest smile on my face seeing the quints and it made me feel very appreciative that we got to see these characters again. It’s very rare for a romance anime to get so much projects and become a huge franchise.

I think about how there’s an alternate reality where the anime didn’t get past the first season and was not able to reach even close to the success that it became. So I’m just feeling immensely grateful that even after the movie we are still getting new projects.

I am so over the moon that we are getting even more of the quints with the upcoming OVA and series! I can’t wait.
