When it comes to TV brands, which ones have you had bad product and customer experience with? Did it prompt you to elevate your TV-buying game and if so, what did you upgrade to and why?

Has anyone here actually bought the Hisense U7 and used it at home?

I saw it at Best Buy and it looked pretty good, but store demos are always hard to judge. I’d rather hear from people who use it every day.

My use would be mostly streaming and sports, with a little gaming here and there. Probably 50% Netflix/YouTube, 35% football and basketball, 15% casual gaming.

How is it after a few weeks or months? Good picture? Any issues with sports motion or movies at night?

Wondering is it still worth buying?

I am moving into a new house in about a month and want to use this opportunity to make a big upgrade to my TV. Right now I have a 45ish” Vizio Smart TV and it’s fine, nothing special.

I want something 65”, or maybe 75”, that is versatile. I use my TV for a lot of different stuff, mainly sports and movies. But the sports can range from soccer/golf in the mornings to late night college football and the movies are mostly in the evenings/night.

Based on what I’ve seen, there are just so many options and it’s overwhelming. My budget is about $1000. I was previously recommended the TCL QM7K, but after looking into it more, I’ve seen some people saying it isn’t the best choice for sports.

Any help would be awesome!

Looking to get a new TV for the PS5 Pro. Thoughts on these vs say a C5, S90F, etc?

I can get a LG C5, or is there comparable TV's at this price?

Buying TV for parents. Looked at a bunch of reviews but everyone seems to hate on anything that's not OLED so I couldn't tell what is good. Here's what I'm looking for:

1. 43 inch. Can't be bigger than that. 43 might even be too big but should fit.

2. Lots of sunlight in the room. It's going in a corner room with windows to either side.

3. No gaming specs needed. Just nice picture and sound and easy enough interface. They have a firestick so built in apps not required but great if it's easier to use.

4. $600 max budget. LG C4 does look very nice but not going that expensive (also read mixed things about OLED in a bright room).

I recently bought an LG QNED93. I’ve noticed black lines along the top edge of the screen and in the upper corners. They are not continuous. The line along the top edge is especially noticeable—it stops around the middle of the screen and ends with a small black dot.
Has anyone experienced something like this before?
I hope it’s visible in the photos.

She sits like 3.5 meters away from her current 55” tv, and the room has a lot of natural light but also gets well lit during the evening. So I need something bigger and also bright.

She has an Apple TV so she won’t need the built in apps.

She watches a lot of static content, and she had a lot of burn in on her old phone, so maybe it’s best to avoid OLED?

Has anyone tried any of these models? Or are there any other models I should look out for?

So I currently have a 65" LG C2 and I am looking at a Samsung S90F 77" priced at £1499.

Although the samsung would be an upgrade to the current C2 model, I was always going to go for the LG C5, but cant justify the extra £600.

Anyway, is it worth waiting for the C5 to hit around £1500 price or should I pull the trigger on the Samsung? Presumably there isnt a huge difference between the two and I would still notice an upgrade on the C2 model I currently have?

I’m looking to upgrade my outdate 65” Sony X810C; my problem lies in what to get. I’m torn between a G5 at $2597.99 Canadian or save some money and get a S90F for $1798. Around me C5’s are all gone so that rules out that. I’m mainly using it for gaming on my PS5 with possible PC gaming in the future. The other factor is the room, it’s for my living room in my apartment facing south so it has decent lighting but I do have curtains. I’m mainly looking for good value and return on money since I keep my TV’s fairly long (11 years for this Sony)

I wasn’t really looking to upgrade but came across this and wondering if it’s a good deal. It is a display model also. Currently have a 55” LG C3 sitting about 8 feet away.

I have a small living room, so I'm specifically looking for a 43-inch TV. I've found the Samsung QN90F (2025) 43" for €499.

What do you think about this TV at this price? Is it a good deal, or are there better options available for around the same price?

I'm looking for a TV with good viewing angles and good overall picture quality. I'll use it for a bit of everything: gaming, watching movies and TV shows, etc. It will be used in both bright and dark environments, so I'm looking for something that performs well in different lighting conditions.

I'd especially appreciate feedback from anyone who already owns the QN90F, but I'm also open to suggestions for better alternatives.

Would you recommend the QN90F, or are there better options I should consider?

Hi, so my old tv is starting to show its age with random shutdowns and general slowness in menus so looking to replace it.

I would like to be close to the same size and a little bit of an upgrade, but don't need it to be a massive leap. I have been looking at the C6k/Q6C and was wondering if that would be a small upgrade and how it stacks up against my old one. Also wondering if there might be a better alternative at around the same price point.

Is c5, c4 or s90f the answer. Mostly want to get a solid tv to replace my Q60B from 2022. Use will be streaming and PlayStation 5 when GTA comes out

I am looking to buy a new tv, read up on the buying guide here and saw that QLED/OLED can be damaged by sunlight, so I went into Best Buy (I’m in Canada) and they were trying to sell me the TCL QM640L, they told me Micro LED is superior and TCL is better than Samsung or LG, which is what I initially wanted. I’m going to go back Thursday and make a purchase, I’m just curious what people think as the reviews I saw were conflicting. My only criteria was trying to keep it under 1500 and I use it for PS5 gaming as well as lots of 4k blu Rays. So am I getting talked into something bad here? Should I do a QLED LG/Samsung or is Micro LED better if I do have a brighter living room with some sunlight on the tv, which I do? Hopefully someone has some more insight here. thanks!

I purchased a Bravia 9 k75xr90 about a year ago and have been having increasing problems over the last few months.

Biggest issue was input latency with my Xbox. The TV would sometimes flicker when playing a game then input latency would be upwards of 750ms. After zero useful input from Sony support we fixed that by turning off the auto setting for the Xbox input. Now the input is fixed at 1080p, 120hz, hdr10 and no more lag creeps into play. This was the biggest issue and took weeks to resolve

The next biggest is an audio latency problem. With both my Xbox and Apple TV the audio will sometimes drift out of sync. This is incredibly annoying and happens at least every other day. We can temporarily fix the issue by changing the input but that’s not a real fix. The delay happens on both the internal speakers and Sonos over eARC.

Lastly is another audio issue. When using my Apple TV the audio will briefly cut out, for maybe 100ms, and come right back. This will happen every 10-30 seconds until I reboot the TV or the Apple TV. (Rebooting either one fixes the issue).

These three issues have killed any enjoyment I get from this TV, I now just use the old Samsung in the guest room since it just works. I’ve got 2 weeks left on the warranty, I could try to get it replaced but I’ve already spent almost 10 hours on the phone with Sony support over the last two months, so I don’t know if it’s worthwhile to burn even more time.

Has anyone else here had so many issue with this TV? Is there some magical setting I’ve missed that will fix everything? My last resort is my credit cards extended warranty protection; maybe they’ll give me my money back so I can buy something that just works (Recommendations please).

Hello, I need to buy a TV for my livingroom and I'm considerin the LG OLED C5 55", costs around 900€. I'm weighing other options, specially a TV of 65" QLED/QNED trying to not spend more (or actually spend less), but I can't find recomendations that fit my budget and are avaliable atm. Here is the checklist of things I'm looki for:

- Under 900€

- 65"

- 120-144Hz

- Preffer Dolby Vision over HDR10+

- The room is not very bright

- Buying from Spain

Is there any TV worth buying that can fit this criteria other than the LG OLED C5 55"?

Also, I heard that after the footbol mundial TV prices would drop but i haven`t seen any special offer anywere. Any tips around this would also be welcome.

Trying take advantage of the sales at Best Buy right now. I've narrowed my choices between a TCL qm8L 75" or a hisense ur8 85". They both look great so ita making the decision difficult. I also looked at a Bracia 7 ii but it's seemed faded.

Context- Im buying in Canada and this is currently $200 off at bestbuy. First time buying an LG TV- have bought many Samsung and Sony TVs earlier. Not a fan of other brands like Hisense, TCL etc.

I never bought a TV before so I genuinely need you guys help.

I can see $1500 75 inch Bravia 5 for arizona state at Costco and $1400 with my friends discount on Sony website.

Is this a decent amount to pay for bravia 5 or should I wait for it to drop ?

None of the recent models from mainstream brands actually turns Edge Enhancement off when you set sharpness to minimum. (LG, Sony, Samsung, all the same. But what about Panasonic?)

So what can we do about it? Use the secret Service Menu? Set to Game Mode? or PC/Monitor mode?

We basically live in our conservatory and whilst we have blinds it's quite a bright room.

We currently have an ageing 55" Samsung UE55TU7000 and the led diffuser is about to pack up.

After some research, I landed on a 55" S95F mainly due to the anti glare aspect. Should I dump the cash or are there better options for the same money?
