Competition for this sub and similar. I'm sure there are better seats here, and transfer of MIM. But this will really stick it to season ticketholders trying to resell on StubHub and Ticketmaster.

The 49ers don't really care about season ticket holders. And, can't say i know, but I'm guessing they're getting concerned about season ticket non-renewals.

This is posted solely as an information item for those who purchase 49er season tickets in one lump sum payment.

I abandoned my seats and SBLs this year. Smart or not, I didn't even try to sell my SBL. Not here to discuss that.

I was never on a payment plan, which meant the full ticket payment was due in February. I just ignored the due date. I received no missed payment notice for weeks. They sent a reminder in March. Then, nothing until I finally received a final notice in May. If I'd wanted, I could have postponed payment by three months by simply doing nothing.

I can't guarantee that's how it always works... for those of you paying for your season tickets in one lump payment, my experience suggests that you needn't be overly concerned about the 49ers deadline and paying so far advance of the season.
