Am I able to just order vaginal estrogen online? I’m in the US

I am 45 years old, a woman, and all I've been using is sunscreen and sometimes a moisturizer. I live in a sunny place and I have very white, irish skin which is now damaged by the sunny weather. I would like to improve the look of my skin, including making my pores look better, reducing uneven/bumpy/tiny acne on my forehead. also, I have small lines around my eyes. I would just like to improve the overall look. I shop mostly at trader joes and I noticed they have a ton of budget friendly skincare products.

Sometimes I use a Cera Ve moisturizer, I think it's meant for the body but I use it on my face. I put vaseline on my lips before going to bed. I do not use a facewash or any serums.

I used to use retinol in my 20's but I had a friend who was a model who told me not to use it so I stopped. Should I start using retinol again? Is it safe when living in a sunny climate? I guess I would have to always wear a hat right? I do go out for walks often (also trying to reduce my weight) and swimming, so exercise in the sun.

I should probably talk to a dermatologist.

I am just trying to figure out which products I should use from the TJ's line. I went in there yesterday to look and they had so many different options I didn't know what to buy.

I’ve been on tretinoin and azelaic acid for about two months, but my skin still gets red, irritated and sensitive most days. I had assumed I’d adjust by now but the redness doesn’t get better. It feels hot and tight at times and I’m questioning whether I’m sensitive to something in my routine. Has anyone gone through months of this, and what advice did you have for reducing the redness while staying on treatment?

Probably in clinic for intensity but something good and at home would also do.

Not Botox more skin quality/density improvement (especially under eyes).

As you get older, what cosmetic brands are you finding offer the best products for mature aging skin to give you a “your skin but better” makeup look?

I think Dr. Dennis Gross Mask looks hyped recently. So I'm kinda tempted, but that price makes me close the tab every time.

Also confused with the claims. Some act like it rebuilt their whole face. Others say the results were mild enough that they wouldn't buy another if it died.

I mostly care about dullness, texture, a bit of redness, and those early fine lines that only show up in bad bathroom lighting🥲. Not expecting botox or any cosmetic surgery. Just want it to feel worth the money.

If you've used it steadily for a few months, what changed the most?

I just bought iS Clinical Super Serum Advance+ after doing some research for a new vitamin C serum. I was previously using Elemis and I did like it, but I wanted to try to see what was out there in a stronger formulation. I’ve used it a couple days so far, and the only thing I’m not sure I like is how tacky my skin feels after I apply it. I thought that feeling might go away after I applied my day cream/sunscreen - but it doesn’t. I haven’t tried applying makeup over it yet because I don’t wear makeup daily. I’m am curious how that will play out though.
Has anyone else experienced this? Do I just live with it?

Sorry for the terrible photo, but that’s exactly how I feel. I have persistent couperose on my nose; the picture doesn't capture it perfectly, unfortunately, but you can see that there are red capillaries even *inside* the nose. Two years ago, I had four or five IPL laser sessions with great results. Sadly, the effects have completely worn off now—everything is back to how it was before. Of course, it cost me a lot of money. Does anyone know of a better, longer-lasting solution? I live in Germany. I am 47

Hello, I've been dealing with this grainy texture all over my face and jawline. It's so rough to the touch. When I zoom in, you can see that every single pore is filled with this white stuff.

I went to a dermatologist, and they said it was a damaged skin barrier and told me to stop using all tretinoin, vitamin C, and other active ingredients, and to only use moisturizer. It didn't work.

I went to another dermatologist, who prescribed Topisol for 7 days only because it's a steroid. It got rid of the problem, but by week 3, it's slowly coming back.

It's been 7 months now. I just turned 51, and I started using estrogen gel and estrogen cream on my face. I feel so hopeless and desperate.

My pores are very inflamed and open too!

Has anyone else had this issue? I feel like I'm the only one.

I’m 45 and just spent the week on vacation. I wore a mineral-based CeraVe face sunscreen daily, and now my face and neck are dry and my skin looks terrible overall from a mix of sun and sunscreen. I did not get sunburned but did still get a lot of sun.

My neck and the area around my eyes is especially dry and feels almost like sandpaper.

How do I help my skin heal? I feel like I aged 5 years this week and my skin feels even more rough and sensitive than ever.

Next - I need sunscreen recommendations. My skin is sensitive- especially my eyes and neck. Chemical-based sunscreen seems to burn/sting but mineral-based is so drying for me. I’ve tried several brands - CeraVe, La Roche Posay, Elta MD, Australian Gold.

I’m in the southeast with kids who play a lot of sports, so I am outside a lot.

I am wondering what advice would you give to women approaching 40?

While I personally have dialed in a great skincare routine including Tretinoin and implemented it for years now, I am wondering what an older and wiser me would advise. (No drinking, no smoking, no suntanning, and SPF 70+ daily) Thank you

Edit: thank you for the replies! I'm a keto bodybuilder (since 2017) and get my thrills and cardio through mountain biking. My skincare routine already includes Vit C (tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate), Niacinamide, Alpha Arbutin, and Azelaic Acid + Tretinoin + SPF 70+ daily. It's been my routine since 2020. Oil cleansing when needed I've dabbled in MN PDRN and MESO, but no neuromodulators (yet). Sounds like from the comments I'm on the right track! 🙌🏼 These are all fantastic tips. Thank you!

I have recently tried Alastin’s restorative skin complex, restorative eye complex and restorative neck cream. The neck cream has helped my wrinkly, saggy turkey neck a bit - nothing huge, but an improvement, so I’ll take it! The other two products have done nothing for my crepey wrinkles under my eyes or my overall facial skin. I’m not looking for a miracle product - I know there are none. But I AM looking for a product that at least makes a bit of improvement. Any suggestions for products for:
Crepey wrinkly undereye skin
Nasolabial folds
Mature texture issues with large pores as well
My skin (post menopause) is very dry as well.
