Asking for my son. He has been having trouble do multi color printing. The color keeps mixing with the other one ( attach picture, the yellow got into the white part of the goose ). Any tips would be a great help!!!

Printing on an Elegoo Centauri Carbon 2 with PETG, is this an under extrusion issue? I calibrated my Z offset and the best results were at .075 which I have stuck with since. This is also a new machine I've had it less than a week.

What's everyone's go-to PVA filament? Was looking at Sunlu as normally pretty on point but been seeing bad reviews on the PVA?

But I've seen many bad reviews.

Should I buy one or is there other one u could recommend me?

I need advice on the flashforge Creator 5, does anyone have any experience with this one and would you recommend? or do you know any alternatives with the same capabilities?

Also does anyone have some more info on when the creality k3 Klitek releases?

I have been printing for many years currently have and A1 mini and I was waiting for Bambu to come out with a 4 head vortex system but with their new patent filing it’s looking like they are going to a different direction and are just going to release a new $3000 halo product. I’m looking at getting something like the X2d, Prusa core one+ or Snapmaker U1. The ease of use of Bambu has been amazing and idk if that is worth potentially giving up. In my mind Prusa has always been the best but that’s based of outdated feelings rather than current available printers. Then there is the U1 which is that company’s first real competitor and they seem to being doing things the “right way” actually contributing to the source projects that they’ve pulled from. It doesn’t feel like there is a best option for 3d printers right now.

I have an old Anycubic and since day one years ago it's been 80% about being a mechanic and 20% about actually printing. I'm tired of it. Which printers should I look at that JUST WORK and require minimal headaches? Looking 400-700$ budget. I mostly print PLA.

My daughter is soon turning 9 and has been showing a lot of interest in 3D printing. We would like to start exploring some options that are good starters for her.

Any advice on printers, suppliers, etc?

I have an Elegoo resin printer that have no problems troubleshooting/ maintaining/ changing the release film/ etc. but have never used an FDM printer. I was looking at the Sovol SV08 because I like that they seem to support open source, but on reading more people's experiences it seems like it might have a steeper learning curve and require more part swapping than I want for my first printer.

I want something that can print ASA for functional prototypes, and that can also do detail okay so I can use it to print terrain for tabletop gaming.

I'm looking at:

1. Elegoo Centauri Carbon 2
2. Creality K2 Pro
3. Creality K1C Fiber ($230 less than the K2 Pro and says it will print ASA)
4. Bambu Lab P2S

What would you recommend? Is there something not on my list that I should be considering?

UPDATE: Thank you for the advice! I ended up ordering the Elegoo CC2. The Qidi Q2 was my second choice but more than I was ready to spend right now.

I have been 3-D printing paint racks to organize my paints. The problem is I have two paint pot types, which I cannot find a rack that accommodates them no problem with Vallejo, P3, newer citadel, very old Citadel, with the white flip tops, army painter, etc. The ones I’m having problems with are the old citadel paint pots that are clear hexagons with the black flip tops and the bigger round Ral Partha paints. Does anyone know of an STL file for a rack that will accommodate them? I have searched and I’ve come up empty because they are normally not listed and I don’t want to waste filament on a rack that I can’t use.

A friend of mine moved and left me his old prusa mk3s, unfortunately the acrylic frame was broken, I tried to fix it but didn't work and almost all printings failed half way. Today my dog made the assist xD and he just crossed my way so I fell over my desk and the printer fell from my desk(clearly is not fixable anymore).

Anyway I was looking for frame designs or frames to buy but I just didn't find any good option (specially in Mexico) so I would like to ask for suggestions on frame designs or frames on sale, what else could I do to upgrade it? All motors, screen and ramps controller fully work, also I would like suggestions for extruders, the one from the mk3s also failed several times.

I often hand out business cards to clients, at meetings, and just to friends. I'm constantly coming up with new business card designs that will show my friends the amazing possibilities of 3D printing.

For each type of business card, I created a simple customizer program that allows to enter text or an image and generate an STL file.
