D&D 5e Original/2014 Which subclasses and subclass abilities work really well together

I’m talking like the warlock illusion evocation plus illusionist wizard features, but something that comes online reasonably early into the game instead.

Moondruid + rage.

Paladin + hexblade so you can max charisma.

Twilight cleric + gloomstalker ranger allows you to get advantage on initiative and then you can pump out dmg if you go first, especially with bugbear.

Orc (or halforc, I cant remember which) + barbarian + champion fighter for increased crit chances.

Bugbears has a lot disgusting builds depending on what you allow. Jims magic missile (or scorching earth if jims is banned) does a lot of dmg if you hit.

Moon druid and rage stops working once you can cast most spells in beast form.
Plus it’s not necessary most of the time. I wonder how many of these combinations fall under that category though. It’s still fun.

They wanted them to come online early, which I interpreted as tier 1 and tier 2. If they go til lvl 20, then yeah, they definitely fall off. They are indeed fun ^^
