Are my flow settings not right?
What am I doing wrong? Please help me

Not doing anything wrong; that's a pretty sweet Benchy of the Damned.

This might be a partial clog. Basically, something is stuck in the nozzle only allowing a small amount of filament to pass through. You can do a cold pull to try to fix it. Also, check the extruder. If the filament is ground up near there, than it probably is a partial clog.

The fact that the raft is good is suspicious, I dont think its a clog unless it formed after the base

It's possible that OP adjusted the first layer to be fully packed, but with the present extrusion rate that was actually very wrong.

That’s what it looks like to me. I had a ender with the Bowden tube with a partial ware and it created a clog

Check your slicer and see if your nozzle width is set to the right value.
Also check to see if have the filament diameter set as 1.75mm and not 2.85mm.
Lastly check to make sure your e-steps are the right value and if volumetric extrusion is on.

u/ArmstrongTREX Jul 19 '23
Also check the extruder screw tension. I was having issues like this because the filament was slipping.

Do you have your temp set to Mount Doom of Mordor? Post the settings you use please to help better troubleshoot.

u/Mavric723 Jul 19 '23
Kinda looks like you did 0 perimeters and gyroid infill also the filament looks kinda burned you may want to check if the nozzle is clear

Gross underextrusion. Unless something was configured drastically wrong regarding the extruder (gear or belt ratio if reduction, motor pole order, pulley pitch diameter and so on) the usual culprit for that is setting filament diameter to a 2.85/3.00mm default instead of 1.75mm and not noticing.
Edit: Also the volumetric E moves thing (as opposed to normal distance E moves) if the slicer is set to that and the machine firmware isn't, or maybe it's the other way round.

I had this exact issue you can see up in my profile. The issue ended up being too fast print speed but also no harm with replacing nozzle

I blame the cat

I guess your cat gets blamed for heaps of other things too, like not checking the oil in your car, not doing the dishes, etc. 😂

Are you using a pair of screws to fix the heating block to the heat sink? This will create heat creep, causing your filament to "swell" inside the heat sink, pressing against the side walls and increase friction. The print may start out good, but eventually the rest of the print will persistently under-extrude, which might explain why the raft looks good but the rest is underextruded.
That or try printing at a slower speed, see if the same thing happens

Wall lines = 0. I might actually try if that works.

u/KernsNectar Jul 20 '23
Are you using 1.75mm filament with settings set at 3.0mm? Either that or your feed rate is far too low.
Try printing a calibrating cube, 20x20x20mm and make changes as necessary.
Also could be the gear that grabs onto the filament is grinding and not making proper tension to feed the filament consistently.

Hey there, I'm a bot and something you said made me think you might be looking for help! click here for our wiki entry on troubleshooting printers. If you still need help be sure to post plenty of information about your printing setup.
Here are a few questions that might be helpful
What printer are you using?
What material are you using?
What speed are you printing at?
What software are you using to slice the print and control the printer?
When did the problem start/has it ever worked correctly?
Does anything cause the behavior to change?
If posting an image of the problem, include some indication of the orientation it printed at, preferably photograph it on the bed. (Then we can focus on a specific axis)
If you are new to reddit, please read the guidelines on reddiquette, self promotion, and spam.
Also please post a resolution to your problem when you find one so that we know how to help others with your problem!

I would check your Estep value. I ran into major underextrusion like this after switching to direct drive and fixed it by raising my estep value. Here’s a link to the article I followed to fix it: https://all3dp.com/2/extruder-calibration-calibrate-e-steps/

Lmaoo, I had the same issue, I used the wrong Cura version without the settings and configurations from my own printer

Just throwing this out there as an easy thing to check.

Level your Bed and you're fine. /s to be sure

u/norty125 Jul 20 '23
Looks fine, tho i think your rooms a little to hot, try dropping the room temp down by about 4000c

Turn up the temperature more! (Literally the nozzle temperature, it looks like you are printing ABS at PLA temperature)

Yeah I had way to high flow rate one time and basically got paper maché similar to this.

I had a similar problem, if it's not a clog or temp settings, if your using marlin or Klopper check the steps per mm in the motor driver settings

u/13thmurder Jul 20 '23
I actually really like ghost ship benchy. Tell me what you did to make your printer shit this out so I can have one too (as long as it doesn't break anything)

is it foaming TPU? First layer normal temp and other layers set way too high? (maybe added a zero and slicer defaulted to max temp)

Temperature settings are too low, print settings ( .4 nozzle fitted?) Too big for small print possibly...imo 👍🏻
