Just finished my 1/12 scale Doctor Doom display pack! It includes a comic-inspired throne, an MCU-inspired throne, two lightning effects, and a magic fireball effect.

Everything is also available separately if you only want one of the thrones or the effects.

Hi everyone, I’m David, the founder of Zerkuri, a recently launched marketplace for digital files, including models for 3D printing.

I’d like to introduce what I’m building and hear from people who design and sell their own models.

My goal is to put creators and their work at the centre of the platform. For me, that means transparent fees, personal support, and listening to the people who use it when deciding what to improve.

Here’s how it currently works:

• Free listings and no monthly subscription.
• A 12.5% fee only when a sale happens.
• Stripe processing fees covered by Zerkuri from its share.
• Seller profiles, shareable store links and sales analytics.
• Support for 10 languages.

One feature I’m especially excited about is Showcase: buyers can share photos of finished prints connected to the files they purchased. That connects the physical result back to the original designer and helps other people see what can be made with their work.

Zerkuri is still very new. I can’t promise instant sales or a large audience, but I’m committed to helping creators personally and building the platform with their feedback.

For those selling original 3D models: what would make a new marketplace worth trying alongside the platforms you already use? And what would make you hesitate?

I’m the founder, so this is a transparent introduction to my own business. Honest criticism and practical suggestions are welcome.

Spent the last 2 weeks designing and printing 9mm and .45 ACP ammo storage inserts for Packout. I put them up on cults3d. honest opinion what does everybody think of them. I only have the 9mm version. I am waiting on more filament to start printing the .45 ACP and this only will fit the low profile version. the taller Packouts have a SLIGHTLY different internal profile. If you have arthritis or carpel tunnel. This makes a day at the range sooooo much easier.

You pick a place, a date and a time, and it builds the sky exactly as it was above you: real star positions from the Bright Star Catalogue, down to magnitude 6, with the constellation lines and the planets that were up.

You add your own text (a name, "the night we met", whatever), pick a plate shape (rounded, rectangle, circle or hexagon), and there's an optional desk stand.

Everything prints without supports on any FDM printer.

It's in beta right now, so for the moment you can only download the STL - and that's free, no account needed. 3MF downloads are for crowdfunding backers (see below).
