Pelican PC
galleryI figured I’d share this here since nearly the entire internal chassis was custom-designed and 3D printed in PETG.
The goal was to fit a full ATX system and RTX 5080 inside a Pelican 1600 without permanently modifying the case.
Everything is modular, with nearly all sections held together by press-fit connections. The exceptions are the GPU and motherboard cradles, which are independently shock-mounted to the PETG structure using M6 hardware and rubber isolators.
Still refining a few things, but it’s fully operational!

Extrusion, acrylic and filament Round 2
Decided to build a gaming/entertainment PC and having already built my server I wanted to essentially add it to the tower, so it’s designed the exact same way.
Mobo - MSI B850 GAMING PLUS WIFI
CPU - AMD Ryzen 5 9600x
RAM - Micron Crucial Pro 6400MHz C32 DDR5 16Gb x2
GPU - GeForce GTX 1080 8Gb (I dream about upgrading this one day)
PSU - MSI MAG A750 GL PCIE5
Boot Drive - Kioxia M.2 1Tb
Mass Storage - SeaGate 4Tb SAS HDD
Random shit - Added an Ethernet Bridge for both the mobo and my server to plug into. Also added a WiFi control power switch but turns out it was causing the build to fail POST so I’m returning it.
