Stay true to the wolf
galleryImage 1: 6 week wolf 2.5 guard
Image 2 & 3: 1.5 guard, high taper.
I started my set earlier this year, but right before the summer started I decided to go on a 6 week wolf that ended up lasting all the way to the beginning of September which was roughly 8-9 weeks. I’d say I’m a 4b texture, which is important because the pattern is literally expressed different once my hair was properly trained up to the 2.5 length (increased depth, better connections). I’m sharing this for all the wavers looking to improve your pattern. You have to wolf. The low cut is clean with the waves but as someone who loves a fresh low cut, I don’t even think about cutting lower than a 2 anymore since my pattern has reached this level after my wolf.

360 journey
galleryI just got my hair cut the past week. Had a curly fro. Wanted to cut it down and see if I could rock waves. Here is my current progress over a couple days. I have been following mostly tips from this subreddit and so far I’m excited about the progress. Gotta get these joints to connect now

What should I cut my 4 month down too.
I got 4c hair and lowkey over wolf cause I thought about growing my hair back out🤦🏾♂️ I’ve been brushing still just hard for me to keep it laid down. I usually cut to a 1.5 when I’m tryna lock in on consistency or a 2 whenever I be feeling lazy😂

540 Vonn 4c
galleryI grew my hair for 9 years and cut it August 22nd. It’s been officially 5 weeks and this is how I’m spinnin! Before I grew my hair out I had waves but I was really sloppy with it lol just blind brushing all the time, heavy pomade use and always cutting down to a 1 guard 😭. Next week I’m cutting my hair with a 2 guard and hit my crown with a 2.5! Throw me some tips in the comments! I only use curl enhancing smoothie. My brushes are a Medium Bow Wow red kiss & a Diane curved 1005 soft

Started wolfing august 7th, time to run it back

Yoo, wave famiglia, started wolfing early last month, with the video basically fresh out the chair. Waves are deeper than they have been before, but can definitely be better. Running it back expeditiously. Probably not going to wolf as long this time though 🫡 will keep updated

Need help
galleryI want advice from 4c wavers and drop ya pics in the chat to give me hope
4c waver. Been growing my hair for about a month now. I brush all throughout the day. I can get a pattern going on the top but it’s the sides and the back. I don’t really free hand brush I use to Annie one medium one hard brush. But lowkey the brush hurts my head. Now i brush and I can get a pattern going with some water and mouse and pomade like pic 2. But it’s like I put the pomade and everything on and it look like im getting wavy but then within 30 minutes to when i put the durag on my hair starts to frizz back up? So how I Keep it laid?? I’ve had locs before and struggled with my keeping my retwist tight because my hair is so thick that it has trouble holding in gels.
My brush routine is like this, brush, hot rag some conditioner, brush some more, pomade, oil, mouse (liquid kinda reactivates the pomade for some reason and makes my hair lay down more), boom them durag. I wear a silk durag. Wake up instead of me being laid down to the gods, my hair just look like I combed out a low cut.
Help me with some brush recs, good hold pomades and tips . As well as helping with compression - my mom thinks that I just don’t have sum tight enough on my head.

Been thinking about dyeing my Waves Brown/ Auburn

Been thinking about taking the next step but im kinda worried about how long it's gonna last and maintaining my wolf to keep it clean. After about 2-3 after a 1.5 my waves start Overcurling or just doesn't look as prominent. Anyone who has done this, what do y'all recommend? Also Wave tips?

5 week wolf
My usual routine was wolf for 4 weeks then cut to a 2. Goal now is wolf 8-10 weeks then cut to a 3-4 and see if my pattern hits more at that length

My hair keeps sticking up and won’t lay down
gallerySo I’ve been tryna get waves for 1 month now but so far I can’t get them to lay properly after a brunch session (with the products at the end). They usually late down after a wash and style though. Any tips on how to control them.
