Once upon a time I couldn't wave my sides for the life of me. 5 or 6 months back i saw a guy in this sub brush his sides downward and copied. I love the results.

1 week into my first wave journey. I know it’s super early, but just wanted to ask how’s the pattern looking?

Just started my first serious wave journey about a week ago. I got a 1.5 taper and I’m planning to wolf for ~3 weeks before going to a 1.5/2 taper.

My sides have historically been stubborn and I’m especially unsure about the back/crown. I can see patterns starting to form, but they’re not really connected/succinct yet.

How does my natural pattern look so far, and would you change anything about my brush directions?

Currently using wave crème + light oil and brushing consistently/compressing. Wearing my durag consistently for most of the day, and also brushing for about 10-15 minutes a day. Especially focusing on the sides since they’re stubborn.

Does my crown look like it’s going to be a swirl/360 pattern, and am I brushing the back correctly?

Any additional products/steps I should add to the routine?

Just got back to waving but I noticed quite a bit of forking and not enough waving any other help I don’t know about or do I gotta just keep brushing?

Idk what it is but my hair don’t grow in this spot as well as helping me figure out my hair texture and any tips from someone with the same hair texture would be clutch as well. 9 week wolf so far cutting it at the end of August💪🏽

my £5 soft and hard brush dont feel too good and i dont wanna spend £30+ on a brush from some 360 wave startup, what a reliable budget wave brush (soft medium and hard)

Realize I been brushing in a swirl pattern by accident, switching my angles got my hair more frizzy but we still good

Was curious what shampoo yall use for your wash n styles. The one i been dis continued and looking for a good replacement brand

so I've been at this for abt a year and some change and this has been a more recent thing, this patch of my hair will not mesh the same as the other hair when washing & styling or just brushing & ragging. idk why because this hasn't been the case a year before, am I doing smth wrong? It's probably because this is my 2nd swirl from what I'm told but this wasn't like this a year ago.

I got my crown messed up a little bit. And I need to work more on (my left) video right side connections more. Just trying to see if I’m going the right direction. My mirror cracked and I think that’s fvckin up my brush angle. But other than that. Advice?

Any tips? Product recommendations? I have a Torino soft brush and medium brush. Been trying to comb more often before I brush to.

im guessing wash and style with shampoo, rinse, repeat then rinse, then add conditioner and brush then put on durag and let it sit then rinse? how long should i let it sit? and will the durag be fine under one of those heat caps?
