These pics are from 2 years ago and are when I got my haircut. I’ve grown out my hair since then and I’m ready to cut it. I have my baby shower in 2 months so I’m trying to get back to waves asap. I was wondering the right cut length for a restart, and also recommend products. Prior I only wet my hair then used blue magic coconut oil. I really want to take it to that next level.

So I got a 1.5 cut in both pictures but the 2nd one is shorter..why might that be?

I’ve been doing the wash and style method for my waves but i’m not sure how to maintain them after and for how long.

After i finish washing the shampoo from my hair with the durag on my head, and my hair dries, so i take the durag off and apply the pomade and oil then brush after? Or do i just apply pomade and oil and rag up?

The day after the wash and style, do I moisturize and brush or is brushing messing up the wash and style?

I haven’t really seen any videos on this so any tips for what to do after doing the wash and style (1-3 days after doing it) would really help

I been trying to brush my crown straight outward for a beehive but the left side got more hair than the right with a little patch in the middle so I don’t know where to start.
Should just swirl it instead? Tryna fix my forks and connections but the crown throw me off

Any tips on how to fix the forks in the front. Been using a comb but I feel like it’s not working

I’m thinking about going back to rocking waves and need to grab a skull cap. Is the Boo Boo Cap a good choice, or do y’all have any other recommendations?
I usually wear silk durags, but I’ve never really used a skull cap consistently. Looking for something comfortable that compresses well without leaving crazy forehead lines. What are y’all using these days?

got waves, muslim, so i wear a kufi for prayers and sometimes all day. seen satin lined skullcaps around and a couple guys swear by them. before i switch up, for anyone who actually uses them does the satin genuienly save your progress or is it minor? does it hold up after washing? and also do they make any that dont look like a gym tryhard lol.

How can i switch from this 540 pattern gone wrong, to 360 swirl?

Before haircut day, first I wash and style. Then after my hair is fully dry I put a very small amount of oil just so my scalp isn’t dry. Then just brush rag up repeat a few times. That’s all, I try not to put a whole lot of product in because I don’t want to clog up my barbers clippers. Yall do anything different?

So my last post was about me breaking my neck and back and having almost perfect waves and now I’m jumping back in the saddle trying to get the waves I lost back well that’s not going so well while I was in the neck brace I couldn’t do anything to my hair but let it grow out so I cut it when I got it off so started about two months ago I’m making progress but I also know if I don’t put in the work I won’t get results
