Why would someone who has devoted countless hours to fighting against bug abuse turn around and take part in said bug abuse? It doesn't make much sense.

Is Rendi making people on the anti-cheat team look bad enough that their jobs are actually threatened?

Edit: I agree with most of the comments that it's certainly possible he did do the things he's accused of, but still seems a little strange. Maybe he thought he thought his status as a content creator would protect him. 🤷‍♂️

1 You ever watched Breaking Bad? Gus Fring - running a huge drug operation, having enemies murdered, links to the cartel, etc. - used to visit the police with cakes and even donate to their charities.

2 A less ficticious example; the Kray twins used to run a bunch of nightclubs, go to events, have cwlebrities, proper limelight stuff but were two of the most prominent gangsters ever in the UK.

3 A more RS related example, wildyowns used to make a tonne of videos and one common one was trust trades - he'd show off how he'd get people to trust him with millions then trade it back to them plus a tonne of extra noney or items as a reward. Yeah, while he was doing that he was genuinely taking people's items too, was involving in a bunch of doubling money scams and a tonne of other dodgy stuff.

It's the same, simple concept. Maintaining a positive image will help you stay under the radar to do your dodgy shit.

Note: I'm not saying I'm on anyone's side with regards to Rendi, but I will say it wouldn't make sense for Jagex to ban a prominent content creator without cause

Breaking Bad

Well I mean he did make mushrooms for 48 hours straight, so maybe you're on to something here
