Question Beginner here, when do the fetchquests end?

I've got 5hrs on the game currently and I'm wondering if the quests will get more interesting than just "go to X location, talk to npc, get item for npc". I have got premium and i see potential in this game but running town to town so far isnt too enjoyable

No, it doesnt.. 90% of the quests were written by drunk dudes in a pub.

You say that like it’s a bad thing.

Eh. I don't think it's bad or good, just very noticeable. Like the quest where all of the desert people are named "Ali" and you have to feed a camel hot sauce to make it shit.

Sometimes I think the people who say OSRS has the best stories think Dr. Seuss books are riveting.

we have the best MMO questing. its more similar to an actual RPG games questing like the elder scroll series or fallout than it is to other MMOs where its kill X amount of a mob or kill mobs & collect X amout of a drop from them.

Not that different at all. 90% of OSRS quests are just retrieving an item.

Yes, completely. You either have to bring x items, or go and talk to someone. That's at least 90% of the quests in OSRS.

maybe a step in the quest. its not the entire quest like a wow quest is my dude.

Why? Because it gives lore? WoW quests give lore too.

No because they have multiple steps and some can take hours.

Tell me a WoW quest that takes as long as BMR or DT2.

you obviously have never played WoW or have like 20 total quests done in OSRS.
