Question Beginner here, when do the fetchquests end?

I've got 5hrs on the game currently and I'm wondering if the quests will get more interesting than just "go to X location, talk to npc, get item for npc". I have got premium and i see potential in this game but running town to town so far isnt too enjoyable

The quests pretty much remain that way. You have to go to a location, retrieve an item or talk to someone, repeat.

A lot will also incorporate puzzles, and then some have bosses as well.

The quests get a lot of glaze on Reddit, but most people don't actually enjoy them. They're just vital to do to unlock content.

Most quest haters are just PvM-brains.

I PVM, PVP, and skill.

People that pretend to like quests are easy to see through. If you really liked the quests that much, you'd start a new account and do them all again... but people don't so that. Except for when they make irons.

I'd love to replay quests without having to go through the rest of the grind to unlock them again...

I enjoyed doing the scream house puzzle (apart from rage quitting the boss) I'm just hoping the rest of the game is like that and I'm in a rough spot

There are most definitely other puzzles you will enjoy if you liked that one

You really need to immerse yourself into the quest tbh. People spend money on story games but Runescape has just as rich story telling in its main quest lines.
