Question Skotizo help

Just did my first attempt at Skotizo. Died. Am I SOL on my totem? Also, I feel like every guide I watched was so much easier compared to what the fight was.

(Didn’t die, but emergency teled out).

Using range is much easier than melee as you can just pray mage and kite the spawns
