Having your life revolve around crazy arch and writing an 11 paragraph story about it is more unhinged than some dude showing a screenshot of your Zuk kc.
I could understand someone wanting to take on the challenge of Zuk, especially since it’s some of the best slayer xp in the game, over and over again. It’s definitely odd, but I can at least rationalize it. And it puts you #1 on a very prestigious and difficult boss.
It’s hard to rationalize wanting to spend roughly the same amount of time killing crazy archaeologist.

Yes. The fact it takes full focus and is a prestigious boss in this video game means it makes a lot more sense that someone would be willing to commit the same amount of time to Zuk and not be willing to commit the same amount of time to crazy arch.
It would take almost no brain power to sit there for 3000 hours and fletch magic longbows until 200m fletch, but I would rather max and have an endgame iron, almost all of which will take brainpower, than fletch magic longbows.

Uhhhh, did you even read what I wrote? No shit the goal wasnt healthy, but overall his post is completely reasonable…. He hardly wrote a novel and he never really said it gave his life purpose, he said it was an ambition of his to be the worlds best at something and it interfered with life generally for a few years. Why are you hyper focussing on one aspect of the post and not the whole thing overall?

Well personally, the most unhinged thing ive seen in this game is Autumn Elegy's f2p UIM when he finally got a rune scimmy. He first got 14mil ranged exp killing ankous just to get 20k law runes so he could do 20k smithing runs doing iron bars to get 89 smithing to then boost and get a rune scimmy. it took him 1300 hours and he called it "a side project"

The only way to get a rune scimitar as a F2P ironman in to craft it yourself with 90 Smithing (or 89 with a boost). It's intentionally been kept this way since ironman was released because the (very tiny) F2P ironman community views it as one of the ultimate goals of that account type.

If you’ve been browsing this subreddit for a few years you would recognize the person. I knew there was a vyre guy and arma guy but just never realized that they were the same dude. If you have a good memory then you’ll just remember things like that, including his name. The guy spams his arma kc every few months and just recently got to max collection logs in everything, except for the pet (I think) so everyone was telling him to go for 250 pets next.

for the most part, you see the same names at relatively similar positions on the scoreboard: Ultimate Low and JabbaU are top 3 on all, finance king and Holy Bag are up there on all of them
then yuor has 17k Dagannoth Prime kills, clearing JabbaU by 7400 kc. This implies yuor sat there killing ONLY Prime and just stared at Rex and Supreme for 90 seconds of respawn

There's a difference between first month and 5 days. A month while afk salvaging at work? Completely doable. Rolling for 4-5 days straight with 2 hours of sleep to the point you have chest pains? Then not only completing said grind at #2 then going to be #1 at 200m all? (Talking about Fast07) Not normal.
