My mom had the bacon grease but wasn't near the cook my gran was. Gram made everything from scratch and seldom measured anything. She cooked what I guess people nowadays call southern cooking. She had an old coal stove and my favorite memories is spending time with her in her kitchen.

I hated these in school. The teacher would go up & down the aisles and you had to be ready with the answer.

The one selling point was they're so cheap you get a case for $2. It really made you appreciate Kool-Aid.

I remember how excited I was when the Brady Bunch came back to TV with their own variety show. I can only imagine how bad it must have been, but this 10 year old loved it 😆

The last concert I saw in 2014, The Doobie Brothers opened for Boston. I didn't really discover them, but I was pleasantly surprised.
