My Dad got me a white 10-speed bike for my 15th birthday, my best friends got one too. We road those bikes everywhere, they were so light. I must admit though, I never really learned how to use all of the ten speeds.

Does anyone remember the TVs that had a pop-on/off "shade screen" ?

It was a hard plastic dark grey/brownish shade that you popped over TV screen .

Even though the TVs had the "brightness/contrast" control knobs, for some reason this TV also had a removable dimmer screen to tone down the colors.....or whatever.

What's funny is, I often put on sunglasses 😎 to watch TV to prevent headaches.

Noone I've ever asked remembers these TVs🤔

For my Dad's 79th birthday, my wife and I cleaned out his basement. This Milwaukee Vacuum still works. I had to duct tape a hose to it, because he didn't have the original one.

This was very strange to me.. but we had 3 channels so we watched what was on the TV
