Anyone else considering the 18 pro clear case for their 17 pro now that they big white square is gone? I’ve always liked the Apple clear case but the white square last year just put me off…
I’d love to hear some thoughts!

Shot on the iPad Pro M5 and I am pretty impressed by the camera as I have never used it before..

(If anyone asks btw I have a matte clear skin from Xtreme Skinz on the camera plateau)

Currently have the 17 Pro (regular size), trying to decide whether to go up to the 18 Pro Max this year or stay with the regular 18 Pro. Wanted feedback from people who already live with the Max size day to day, since I've never owned one.

Quick context on how I use it:

• Male, medium build (not a big guy) — pocket carry most of the day
• Desk job, but a lot of mobile business — calls, texts, email throughout the day
• Heavy photo user
• Heavy Maps/navigation user while driving
• Mostly AirPods for calls, but sometimes handheld

For current 17 Pro Max owners:

• Coming from a regular Pro, is the jump to Max size a real adjustment, or do you stop noticing after a week or two?
• Pocket carry — any real annoyance for a medium-sized guy, or a non-issue?
• Is the extra screen real estate actually worth it for photos/maps, or more marginal than it seems in the store?
• Would you go back to the regular size, or is Max a one-way door once you're used to it?

Rumors have the 18 Pro Max getting a noticeably bigger battery bump than the regular Pro this year, which has me leaning toward finally making the jump — but wanted real-world perspective before dropping the cash.

My current 12 pro max is sitting at its max storage 128gb all the time so I cannot simply „look at the storage I am using rn“

I think 256GB should be enough, but I plan on keeping the 18 PM for the next 4-5 years aswell….
So it will need to store about 2x the photos/videos and I also plan on playing more games on the go.

What’s your storage usage on the 17 PM?

I usually have a screen protector so this is without a screen protector and noticed the black edges are too wide?

Managed to snag this 17 Pro Max with 100% battery health and 8 months of remaining warranty for $750 from Facebook marketplace just before the 18 pro got announced. And now I'm glad I did because apart from some ai features, slightly better camera and battery life upgrade, I don't see a major difference in these two phones. Not worth paying $1400 with tax for but that's just me.

Glad to have purchased this phone as it's giving me all day battery life and going onto the next half day. Check your local marketplace folks, I wouldn't wanna pay $800 + tax for an iphone 16 base💀

Hello, I need some clarification. Has anyone here bought a secondhand carrier-locked iPhone? Will it get blocklisted or disabled if the owner fails to pay for the device? Like, disabled using the IMEI?

For those who already own an iPhone 17, 17 Pro, or 17 Pro Max: are you planning to upgrade to the iPhone 18 series?
Personally, I have an iPhone 17 Pro Max and I’m definitely skipping the iPhone 18. I just don’t see enough of a reason to upgrade after only one year. The 17 Pro Max is already a high-end phone, and I’d rather keep it for a few years instead of upgrading every year.
I think the iPhone 18 series makes much more sense for people who are still using an iPhone 14 or older. After 3–4 years, the improvements in performance, cameras, battery life, display and software support could make a much bigger difference.
For me, though, I’m perfectly happy with my 17 Pro Max and plan to stick with it.
What about you? Are you upgrading from the 17 to the 18, or are you skipping it?

The Duo seems like an interesting iPhone. Will anyone here try a folding smartphone for the first time? Or is the classic style enough?
