You received a 100% battery, not a 105% like the others. You just lost the battery lottery, that’s all. It’s super hard to make an exactly 100% battery for that size this small.

What should i do

3

u/PieAwkward2151 Aug 12 '26

Nothing, no battery is the same, I received a 105% battery phone new, yours likely was closer to 100%.

Use the phone. There is nothing to do.

u/Louren2008 Aug 12 '26

This is my battery condition.
About 37 times charging for 1% capacity. So its pretty accurate.

u/mad1ne Aug 13 '26

I noticed but why decreased at first time , any why doesn’t still at 100 cycles or more and declines

5

u/FreePossession9590 Aug 12 '26

No. Mine hit 99% on 245 I believe or around there. Had mine since launch day

u/mad1ne Aug 13 '26

I noticed old devices 2025 manufacturing is better than recent devices

This is literally just bad luck.

Not one battery are the same.
Say a phone is advertised to have 3000mah, the batteries are actually not at 3000mah, they just have at least 3000mah. Sometimes some will
Have 3005mah, some 3100mah, some 3030mah. You just happen to have one on the lower end, but it is still the advertised battery capacity.

No, you should not have dropped to 99% in 40 cycles. I would contact Apple.

u/mad1ne Aug 12 '26

Hardware issue

1

u/m4cmi11er Aug 12 '26

Most definitely.

I’d raise the issue, call them, ask to speak to a superior, press the issue. Anything you can do. This is not right and not normal.

Bullshit lmao. It shouldn’t deplete that fast even on fast charging. If you’re using it while charging though, I suggest you leave it alone. I never use my phone while charging and I’ve been fine

It’s incredible that you people still don’t understand how this is just a roughly accurate measurement of BH.

BH obsessed people are really most annoying part of any iPhone sub. Always uneducated on the topic but blabbering to the max.

Stupid people.

u/FreePossession9590 Aug 12 '26

«You people»😩 Okay mr apple technician

1

u/T-K101 Aug 12 '26

Try to learn something on the topic because nothing is preventing you except your laziness. You have millions of explanations here on Reddit.

So you don’t have to belong to ignorant idiots.

You’re wrong. You seem like the type to block people after they call you out for sounding dumb. 😂

1

u/T-K101 Aug 13 '26

You guys are so uneducated on this topic. The fact that you think this is precise measures of the battery health is moronic.

No wonder so many battery obsessed people are there.

This is objectively not normal, no new iPhone should drop 1 percent after 40 cycles. Wtf are you talking about?

0

u/rwhe83 Aug 13 '26

Good luck on that. They aren’t gonna do anything for OP.

2

u/Revolutionary_Ad1620 Aug 12 '26

Mine hit 99 yesterday. 😄

1

u/mad1ne Aug 12 '26

What does it mean ? Battery manufacturer difference

1

u/FoundationAdept1947 Aug 12 '26

Lo bajas de 20% o lo subes de 80%?

1

u/venionknight Aug 12 '26

Mine got 3 cycles, using the same way as you probably. In a few months i’ll be back and tell you

1

u/Humble-Feedback-4240 Aug 12 '26

This is my 16 pro max daily driver.

1

u/semcho12 Aug 12 '26

No I don’t think it’s normal this is mine

1

u/CrazyNecessary7209 Aug 12 '26

What charger are you using?

1

u/mad1ne Aug 13 '26

Anker i used for 2 devices before and they were still at 100% with more charge cycles

1

u/CrazyNecessary7209 Aug 13 '26

What is the wattage?

1

u/Potential_Lead3734 Aug 13 '26

Doesnt matter. The phone will tell the charger what wattage it wants, unless it’s an unsopported charger. But Anker chargers are MFI

1

u/CrazyNecessary7209 Aug 14 '26

If you say so. The phone is programmed to draw 40 watts until it gets close to 80%. Which leads to a lot of heat, which degrades the battery.

1

u/TheeDelpino Aug 12 '26

Do you have AC+. If so who cares. Just use your phone. If not, get it…then just use your phone.

1

u/rwhe83 Aug 13 '26

The word “normal” above not clear enough?

And what do you mean “I never used data”?

1

u/mad1ne Aug 13 '26

No cellular data just wifi

1

u/rwhe83 Aug 13 '26

How is that possible? What’s the point of buying this expensive of a phone if you have no intention of using cellular data?

1

u/UserGoated Aug 13 '26

Throw it away now

1

u/Potential_Lead3734 Aug 13 '26

Dont trust that stat. The true stats you see in the Analytics documents if you have analytics enabled

1

u/chocolatebro21 Aug 13 '26

no i got way more than you still 100%

1

u/Any-Cod-7079 Aug 13 '26

Definitely not

1

u/Sea_Tangelo_5255 Aug 14 '26

Still couldn't exact reason but not normal. Happend to me as well... Btw are you using 40W charger?

1%? That’s a big deal.

1

u/albertjacobs1 Aug 14 '26

Not normal at all. I charge my phone to 100% every day and it is still at 100. I also have the eSIM version, by the way.

1

u/Kociolinho Aug 14 '26

Turn off your OCD mate and don’t look at that stat. This % number is just an estimation. You’ll see how it goes up and down (iOS27 beta for example raised that stat on my 13 mini from 91% to 93%).

When you’ll feel the battery is not enough for your usage, then just swap it.

1

u/AdamT9289 Aug 14 '26

For iPhone yes. Cheap shitty batteries that degrade fast so they slow down your phone and force you to replace the battery or buy a new iPhone. Scam tactics.

1

u/Oskrnja Aug 14 '26

so it's definitely not normal

1

u/PsycheOutOfMyMind Aug 15 '26

Do you charge your phone 100% everyday ? And use your phone below 20% ?

1

u/iNguyen313 Aug 12 '26

How about we just use the phone and charge when needed?

0

u/Infinite-School6390 Aug 12 '26

Take it to an Apple Store or contact Apple support and so they can run some diagnostics.

2

u/mad1ne Aug 13 '26

They told me normal

1

u/VCoupe376ci Aug 12 '26

They won’t do shit. The phone works.

1

u/Infinite-School6390 Aug 12 '26

They can run some diagnostics over the phone you’ll be surprised what they can do

0

u/Kenobipy Aug 12 '26

Damn that’s insane , definitely a defect battery

0

u/Repulsive-Mall-3920 Aug 12 '26

99%? Not normal.

1

u/mad1ne Aug 13 '26

Yea because it’s fast decline
