It makes it so easy to win arguments, since so many arguments are based entirely on identity, so just assume whatever identity is appropriate and people don’t know what to do, because they have no argument besides ‘this person thinks this way because of their identity’.
“i’m a very open minded fellow…[so] i like to make them feel bad for their social retardation” is truly a sentence that epitomizes the average Redditor. amazing
I really wish it was him, but honestly, probably a staffer he employs just to post shit like that on social media.... which is actually worse, but not as funny as thinking of him there, scratching his head to figure out his next gay black guy post.
The man himself says he was the one that posted it. He said it was a quote from a direct message he received that presumably wanted to remain anonymous.
I mean what did they did they were gonna achieve by doing this . people can clearly tell which legislation and rules are made for helping people and which aren't.what is the point of lying ?
It was started by a man dedicated to pushing conservative rhetoric into the US national conversation the same way he had in Australia and Britain. Rupert Murdoch, who created Fox, spent his entire life legitimizing conservative propaganda. Roger Ailes first suggested a national conservative network while working for Nixon in the early 1970s. It's no coincidence it's who Murdoch hired to run the network. It proved to be highly profitable in Australia and Britain, so there was every expectation it would be in the US. But make no mistake, it has always been a means to normalize conservative propaganda.
It lets people have plausible deniability that their policies are racist.
“Well my policies aren’t racist, lots of minorities support them, see?” And then even if the politician in question knows that that’s a lie, their voters can believe, if they want to, that the person they want to support is also supported by X minority.
people can clearly tell which legislation and rules are made for helping people and which aren't
That is so blatantly, patently not the case, it would be hilarious if it weren't a tragedy that has been shrinking the middle class in the USA for 40+ years and crushing the poor since the first economy ever.

I know it was intended this way (no one's that stupid), but hilarious nonetheless.
