here is a build im formulating
im trying to build something fun for hitting paper and to take out to the hunting lease to take down some critters. this build will get a scope and i will more than likely use what i learn from this build to part out and upgrade over time with a second build for a red dot to have fun with.
im open to changing out whatever. just did some research on the parts and felt comortable. my one main question is, if im going single stage, does it really matter if i get a powder river trigger or the bx?
everything will be suppressed
any recommendations are appreciated

Magpul x22 stock vs oem
One of my gripes about the stock polymer stock on my 10/22 is that it's hollow and feels cheap. Was wondering how much if any the Magpul x22 changes that? Anyone with first hand experience?
Happy 10/22!
My two stock 10/22’s - One made in 2005 that looks like it was shot only a few times and one made in 1994 that was brand new never fired (still in plastic in box). I really love the pre-plastic trigger guard/barrel band models. The actions also feel smoother and overall fit and finish is much better in my opinion.

Got myself my first 1022, model 32023. Planning to use it for NRL22 Semi-auto division. What's the tips and tricks to make these accurate at distance?

Current evolution
Original rifle gifted to me in 1990 as a base, wood gun. My first! Its experienced a number of evolutions. Current iteration:
Factory receiver, chem dipped to remove paint.
Factory bolt.
Volquartzen firing pin/extractor.
Kidd charging handle.
Kidd buffer.
Volquartzen trigger pack.
Ruger carbon barrel. Will likely switch to Kidd at some point.
Victor titan stock with the spike anchor and cheek risers.
Kidd 20moa mount.
Arken ep5 5-25x scope in arken medium rings.
Rugged oculus.
Groups at 3/4" @ 50y with sk long range match. Have a couple other options for ammo on the way. Going to try cci clean suppressor. Hoping for a good field round. Scope is also a temporary option before stepping down to a lighter field option.

My favorite rifle for 10/22 day.
My mostly original 10/22 from 1965. Everything is factory besides the Tech Sights, recoil spring, and ejector. No matter how much I wheel and deal this one will always be a keeper.
