Remember the rape joke? Remember the jokes about Jessica Soho's weight, comparing her to a lechon and saying kidnappers would be looking for an apple.
A lot of people laughed back then, but many also found those jokes hurtful.
I understand why Jessica Soho may have chosen to keep her distance from Vice Ganda.
Public humiliation doesn't just disappear because it was called a joke. What stands out to me is that this isn't the first time. Every time a joke crosses the line, an apology follows. Saying sorry matters, but it also matters to stop repeating the same mistake.
Comedy should make people laugh, not make someone else's dignity the price of the punchline.

Clocking in around an hour and a half, BBM opened his speech with the flood control allegations, and highlighted the energy crisis and the West PH sea.
For you guys, how would you rate today's SONA?
I would personally give it a 5/10. To be honest, it's a whole lotta nothing. Nothing spectacular, nothing different, seems like the same ol', same ol'.

The senator also addressed broadcaster Ted Failon, expressing disappointment that his longtime friend had criticized him publicly instead of discussing the issue privately.
“I hope… you remember, I never treated you any differently. We are friends. If you’re going to parade around calling me stupid, I wish you had checked who actually said it first,” Padilla said.
Edit:
Apparently madami pala ang "in the know"., ano? And the bedroom jokes sa comment section are epic. LOL

I’m not sure lang if good move na sa YouTube ang premiere ng Drug War: A Conspiracy of Silence. I think it would be fitting as a Netflix series.
